Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe shower head had a crack in it so the water went towards the ceiling. The radiator wouldn’t work so the room was freezing (they did bring us an electric heater) The double mattress had a spring sticking through so wasn’t very comfortable. The rooms were very old fashioned and could do with bringing up to date.

United KingdomThe over bed night lights didnt work niether did the bathroom one, no heating (was given a small blow heater), furniture had seen better days. Shower was filthy. Cord on the hair dryer was dangerous. Broken window. Beds rocked like you were on a boat. One small tv on the opposite side of room.
The staff tried there best to help. Offered free breakfast on the final day as compensation.

United KingdomNothing really, the view out the window was an alleyway and back part of the hotel, but even that wasn't that bad (we don't spend much time staring out the window). The floor was also a bit creaky but not so off-putting that we wouldn't stay again.
The room was very pleasant, the beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. The location was brilliant for our needs. We had tea making facilities and biscuits in the room.

United KingdomThe fact that I left my phone charger in the room my sister was still staying an extra night but got told my charger wasn't there is was in the plug socket were the kettle was and I no it's my fault but you don't expect people to steal what belongs to you my sister asked the staff the same day to see if it had been handed in for them to reply no shame on you

United KingdomPlumbing needed attention, which i told them as feedback, not a complaint, it will be sorted. No control for the radiator, and had to boil hot water for a shave and wash in the morning, but the room itself was ideal.
Location is excellent. Breakfast was brilliant and substantial. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Lady running the service on last day was so smooth and effortless, friendly, like closing the door of a Rolls Royce.

All the staff were really friendly and help full. The breakfast was delicious very hot and tasty. The bedroom was very comfortable the reception area and dining room were very clean. The location is perfect 2 minutes from the tower. Will definitely stay here again.
