We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The attention to detail by our lovely hosts, was very impressive, we were in a beautiful room with a super comfy bed, I had 7 hours uninterrupted sleep, first time in years! There were 2 tartan covered hot water bottles in a drawer just in case we got cold, wonderful. The breakfast was excellent too, just sad that we only stayed 1 night.

Kenneth was very welcoming and helpful on arrival. Our room was modern, warm and comfortable after a wet day in Scotland. Everything we needed was either in the room or provided on request. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of good quality products being provided. We're really glad we chose this location. We would highly recommend this B&B

We stayed for one night, while touring the Scottish highlands. Very nice and quiet location at the end of a spectacular single track drive. Owner gave recommendations for places to dine as there is nothing nearby. Rooms are cozy and nicely decorated and have nice bathrooms. We loved the Scottish breakfast!

Although we had a reservation our car suffered a blowout front tyre & we had to walk about a mile to the house. We had no way to buy food or eat out & they provided us with an evening meal as there is nothing in Clashnessie except the beautiful waterfall & the beach (certainly nowhere to buy provisions). They couldn't have been any kinder to our situation. Wonderful thoughtful host.

Beautifully presented with everything you needed for the night . Bathroom facilities were all new and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was just delicious, they offer a full cooked breakfast as well as cereal & fruit .

United KingdomNothing to not like. As usual I have a sweet tooth and there wasn't enough sugar sachets for me. But I bring my own as it's normal. The lights were very bright, but that's a personal preference.
The staff were attentive and courteous. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size. The view was wonderful. It was everything we wanted.
