We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWell the decoration could have been better as the hotel looks as if it could do with a makeover the rooms were tired and could do with both a lick of paint and new flooring, the heating in the room did not work too well and the bathroom was okay but the shower was poor and the toilet seat was loose however on the whole the accommodation was okay but for the cost it was a bit disappointing but the breakfast made up for that.
The breakfast was great well presented and the staff were friendly and the bar was great and full of character.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location is in centre of Lerwick and easy walk to local attractions. Very clean.

AustraliaVery expensive. No elevator and the rooms we were in were 4 flights of stairs up from the main street or 2 flights up from car park. There are no rooms on the ground floor. It is hard work on older people or people with limited mobility. Tiny TV. Mould in the 2 bathrooms I saw.

United KingdomIt is all very dated - room smelt a bit damp, and mattress was badly in need of replacing. Lack of instructions to find parking initially caused issues, but very handy once I found it. The price per night is crazy, obviously, but that’s Lerwick prices for you these days!
Staff all really went out of their way to help, including letting me check in early and offering to carry my bag up the stairs (there are lots of stairs). The location with sea views was lovely. Breakfast really nice (cooked options). Fewer options for continental style. I felt perfectly safe and well taken care of during my stay.

As a consequence I feel that it is somewhat over priced Anyone with mobility issues will struggle with the stairs, there are a lot of them and no lift Shower over bath so stepping up/down was required Soft bed - but that is a personal preference for a harder mattress
