We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomLacking atmosphere. No bar and integrated seating area. Parking poorly organised. Spaces not always available despite paying the £6 per night fee on arrival. Note blue badge disabled guests can park on Esplanade FOC all day and night. Wish we had known that before paying the hotel parking charge!
Brilliant position on Esplanade. Friendly & caring staff who went out of their way to please. We were fortunate in having a lovely room. Others guests were less impressed!

United KingdomIn our room, some of the windows couldn't be opened because they were screwed shut. There are safety wires on the ones that did open, so presume this was done as a cheaper alternative than replacing old windows (note - they are upvc and perfectly safe). As we had great weather, it would have been nice to open all windows to allow a flow of fresh air. The bathroom was clean, though tired, and needs updating. The fan in the bathroom was very noisy and was loud enough to wake me when my partner went for a midnight wee... Breakfast was OK, but the sausages had been sat for a while, so a bit hard... The coffee was hot, but perhaps a bit weak. Sadly, the bar wasn't open... so a bimble downstairs for a night cap wasn't to be...
The staff were lovely and very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean, but perhaps a little tired, in our room. The tea/coffee area was OK, but sadly, no biscuits, which are handy when peckish... Beautiful sea view - which is what we went for - and 100% recommend you book if that's what you're after👌 Breakfast was fine, everything presented clean, plenty of choice, and the cooked food didn't look like it was in a war zone, as in some hotels, but we did stay in May which is quieter than some other months. Staff on hand to top up if it was needed. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay for RnR by the sea, and we definitely recommend you consider the Best Western Exmouth Beach Hotel.

United KingdomThe only thing that was a bit challenging was the walk in shower as I travelled with my mum of 80, who is mobile etc however the surface of the shower tray was very slippery and there was not grab handle. So we had to soak a towel and she stood on that.
Great location, easy to park if the hotel carpark was full, plenty of options opposite and along sea front . Very friendly and helpful staff
