Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesDisappointing on-property restaurant. I wanted an “American-style” breakfast of scrambled eggs, fried bacon, and some form of potatoes. They had nothing even remotely like that.
Luxurious property - very comfortable, immaculately clean, fabulous location directly adjacent to Temple Square. Large number of restaurants and pubs within walking distance.

United KingdomBreakfast isn't worth the money, it was very bland and tasteless. We ordered room service - it was carried up on a tray, no trolley and the food wasn't even covered and had come up 3 floors so it was cold by the time it got to us and not very sanitary. We thought this was very poor. We also asked for more tea/coffee - when we answered the door to a member of staff she was just juggling it all in her hands (tea, coffee, sugar and bottles of water/milk) and had to pass it to me one by one as I put it in the room which just seemed very unprofessional. It could have been bought up on a tray or something to make things easier for us both.
Location was excellent, everything was in walking distance. The hotel was stunning, staff really friendly, we even got to check in early. We went in at 11:30am to drop our luggage off but they managed to check us in there and then.

United KingdomAlthough we arrived an hour later than check in, the room wasn't ready so the lady on reception gave us a voucher for a complimentary drink each (would have expected that for having to wait). Went to the bar downstairs who told me I could only have one drink even though it had been wrote on the voucher. I did argue and ask them to call reception and they then let me have the two complimentary drinks. It did take the edge off the whole experience, especially as we were only there for one night for our joint birthday and anniversary celebration.
The hotel is gorgeous and everything we wanted it to be. Facilities and rooms were fantastic.

I loved my overnight stay at this beautiful hotel. A luxuriously, comfortable bed in a spacious room. Quiet and private too. It even had a yoga mat, with some room to take advantage of some well needed stretches. Lots of eating places nearby and close enough to walk from the train station with my baggage.

Without exception, every member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful, professional and supportive. These included the reservations team on the phone, front of house, but most notably, Sonya and Serena whose enthusiastic and friendly approach helped us celebrate our special day and really added a personal and individual touch. As “born and bred” Brummies we were absolutely thrilled to experience the stunningly beautiful and stylish interior of the hotel, the gorgeous decor and the incredible attention to detail. We are so interested in the hotel’s history and it was a joy to see what an iconic building it has once again become and what an important addition it is to the city. We can’t wait to visit again!

Attended 40yr reunion banquet Hall fab. Arrived very early but had room available. Location is perfect very quiet though in a busy area. Room was lovely everything you needed. Though no parking there is a secure carpark very close. In check out let staff know if you parked there to get discount
