We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Room was lovely, but bedside table prevented easy use of power sockets, and for us an extra comfy chair would have been a blessing instead of a standard lamp that was not necessary, a triumph of form over function.

The location is ideal for a wedding at The Oak Tree. Family and friends met prior to the wedding for lunch. We all enjoyed the "messy chips". Google maps states its a half hour walk to wedding venue, but I recommend not to walk. Roads are country lanes, no paths and street lighting. Breakfast in the morning was good value for money at £10.

United KingdomThe car park seems to be a gathering place for petrol heads all admiring each others cars! As my room was facing the car park and it was very hot I had to keep my windows open, and they went on quite late which was a bit of a pain. I did ask the next day if they actually spend any money in the bar or just use it as free parking?

Enjoyed dinner and breakfast although service was very slow. Sleep was disturbed by intrusive noise from a generator outside below window exuding steam making it impossible to sleep. Staff very friendly and situation lovely but the noise means we will never return there.

United KingdomThe hot water in the bathroom felt like it was at boiling temperature. There were warning signs. It was difficult to wet shave as there was no light above the sink and my face was in shadow. There was also a low glass shelf overhanging the sink which made it very difficult to wash my face without hitting my head on the shelf.
The bed was king size, and, after taking alcohol out of the equation, I had one of the most comfortable sleeps ever. The bathroom was spacious with a good, strong, walk in shower. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a very comfortable stay. Would stay again, in fact tried to book again for 5 months time while checking out but there was no availability.

Really charming room with a four poster, comfortable bed. There was a surprisingly good selection of coffee, bisquits and tea at the room. Very practical with a full bar and good restaurant menu on the location.
