The showers have little to no pressure and if you end up in room 1 the only way to use the bathroom mirror is to kneel on the floor, I understand that the room is wheelchair accessible but it needs a mirror at able bodied height

We were kept awake for most of the night by noisy guests in the next apartment who seemed to be up all night talking & shouting outside and in their room, although this wasn't the fault of the hotel owners it did spoil our stay somewhat through lack of sleep. Needed four cups in the room for tea and coffee, 4 guests but only 2 cups.

The room was decorated to a nice standard and was very clean and comfortable. The location of the room and pub was quite stunning with scenic views. Nice food in the pub although a little slow coming out.

There was no food after 7 pm, and the shower curtain was dirty. Also, NO hit water from the sink tap.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Snatch the parrot was a lovely addition. Breakfast (not included) was good value, well cooked and presented beautifully.

I liked that it had a seperate area to sit and watch tv plus a room to hang coats etc in. I loved that it was dog friendly and had a pub onsite (excellent food) that was also dog friendly.

3 of us in the room but only 2 teacups provided. No hairdryer.

The shower is no where near powerful enough and there is no shelf in shower on which to put shampoo,soap etc. Pillows very soft

Water tank in the loft bubbling away 24/7 and was noisy during the night. ? Trickling (pouring) into an overflow. No pressure in shower. Impossible to wash properly. When shower head turned upside down, water flow almost stops. Couldn't wash hair as would have taken 30 mins to get shampoo out. ?Related to constant water flowing on loft. No sheet on the mattress- only on the mattress topper itself. Booked for x4 people, but 4th bed was a camp bed which was unprepared despite the booking clearly being for x4 people. The kids had to top and tail in the end as didn't want the extra hassle of making up beds. Breakfast was expensive. Paid appropriately £12 for egg benedict and received a cold bread roll/bap chopped in half, drowned in a vinegary hollandaise sauce. The x2 poached eggs were nice, but the rest wasn't great. It wasn't worth the money. The bread should have been toasted and warm, not cold. Buttered would have been nice too. Don't mind paying fine dining prices if the food is up to standard, but it wasn't. The accommodation was clean enough but the toilet seat didn't fit to toilet. Was so bad, the porcelain bowl was completely exposed at the front. Big gap between seat and the bowl infact! I don't like my thighs touching the cold porcelain especially if it is covered in wee, so this really wasn't good. No loo roll holder. Toilet roll balanced on top of towel rail instead. Mouldy shower curtain. Mouldy silicone all-around shower. Just been renovated, so surprised it was like this. The closet was full of cobwebs, dust and massive dead spiders. TV wasn't tuned in. Heating was on 15 on arrival. Set it on 20. Took almost 24 hrs to reach 18. It was too cold for our newborn. I know it's a minor detail, but unmatched tea cups (says lack of attention to detail to me).

There was an initial problem with our room when we first checked in which was sorted straightaway and we found the staff very welcoming and helpful throughout.

Only criticism was that the restaurant closed early for people arriving.

Nothing to dislike. The only niggle was the lack of wifi as they said they were in the middle of changing providers. But that’s a first world problem to be honest. We still coped!

Emergency night lights took a bit of getting used to but we understand this is a health and safety requirement. Maybe a small fridge in room. Pub does not do breakfasts but asda just down the road

Room had its own entrance and a stable door Very clean room. Great location Food in the pub was outsatnding and the staff very friendly and helpful Good area for travelling with a dog. Pub is dog friendly but does have a restaurant should you wish to eat with out pets. Walking alone riverside was fine but recommend you wear hi vis clothes Very quiet peaceful area

Put up bed wasn't adequate for a single adult. Put a picture of the cottages on the site so we can see what we are trying to find in the dark 00:30 We ended up in the adjacent caravan site. so add a description or picture of the second entrance coming from the East to avoid that. Confusion with Booking.Com over the payment which is nothing to do with the Hotel

The room and facilities were absolutely great and spotlessly cleaned. However we needed three single spaces for three bikers. The normal double and single bed was fabulous. however the put up bed wasn't up to standard for an adult and the springs were already stretched. putting the mattress on the floor didn't work as its designed to be on a sprung base. So we ended up sleeping top to tail which isn't ideal. Location from Heysham IOM ferry was really great 5 mins drive.
