Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThere really isn’t anything I can find fault with.
Self contained beautiful converted coach house. Beautifully decorated with everything you need for a perfect getaway. Private hot tub to watch the sun set or relax any time. It feels completely private even though the main house is close by. Definitely a must to go and stay. The new forest is amazing and Bournemouth is only 40 minutes away.

United KingdomI could not fault it. Just book it - you won't regret it!
Everything was wonderful! Emma is a lovely host, she even baked us some bread on arrival, such a treat. The coach house is very spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfy, and the hot tub with the incredible view was just dreamy. There are so many great restaurants nearby and of course the New Forest is a beautiful setting. I highly recommend this property - it was the perfect relaxing getaway. Thank you Emma!

United KingdomWe loved everything.
Everything was fantastic. Absolutely everything. Emma is fabulous host and made sure we've got everything we needed. Small touch like freshly baked bread and homemade jam made our stay even more enjoyable. The location of the house is also top. The place is brilliant for both enjoying the hiking routes around or just stay in the property and enjoy the extras you have there like the hot tub with amazing view. We also got amazing level of privacy there. I highly recommend the property for both couples or solo travelers.

United KingdomThe Coach House is in a rural location on the edge of the New Forest, not far from some great walks. It's also an easy drive to Salisbury, for rainy day activities. It is cosy and comfortable. The hot tub is excellent with a view over the Forest in daylight, and wonderful for star gazing after dark. The host is welcoming and helpful, with tips on the local area. A freshly baked loaf, butter and jam awaited us on arrival, as well as tea, coffee and milk. I left something behind and she contacted me and sent it on to me without charge. "All part of the service".

United KingdomTo pinpoint only 1 thing we'd mention; the bed was harder than we like. We brought our own pillows with us due to allergies with feather pillows. As this comes down to preferences, not a complaint. :)
Impressed with our stay. Beautiful home & hot tub overlooking views was icing on the cake! The host, Emma, was wonderful and so accommodating - gave us helpful tips to make our stay enjoyable. As our stay was between the holidays, we made the best of the situation with weather and the village didn't have much open on its highstreet but nevertheless we made the best of it and enjoyed our visit! A great getaway and the escape we needed together so thankful !

United KingdomNothing, it was all good.
As soon as we arrived in the grounds of the manor house we felt relaxed, the Coach House is tucked away in the grounds and whilst the owners are nearby they are very discreet and left us to enjoy our stay. Emma baked us some bread and there was a Nespresso coffee machine for us to use which was great. The hot tub was wonderful, it overlooked fields and was positioned for maximum opportunity to enjoy the sunset. The Coach House itself is quirky with the lounge upstairs with a fantastic woodburner, we just really loved staying there. There are many things to do in the area and Emma was really helpful in giving us recommendations. During our stay we attended a nearby festival so had a chance to enjoy music whilst coming back to a comfortable bed and hot water. My husband was also doing some work and the wifi was good, all in all it was a perfect stay. We will be back.

United KingdomThis place is a dream and we loved every single minute of our stay. The Coach House is decorated to a really high standard and the fixtures and fitting are beautiful- there is even a flowery toilet 😀. Completely gorgeous. We loved the hot tub which has views over the surrounding countryside. Sitting in there with our glasses (plastic of course) of wine as the sun sets was a perfect end to the day. Emma the host is so lovely and has thought of everything and more - thank you so so much Emma, we left feeling relaxed and happy

United KingdomNothing. Everything was excellent. One of those houses where you walk in and instantly think 'I could live here'. The only negative was that we didn't stay long enough! There's a lovely hot tub which we didn't have time to use.
Location excellent, lovely and quiet, the coach house has been beautifully renovated by the owners, there is a fully equipped kitchen, and lots of lovely personal touches - Emma the property owner even made us a fresh loaf of bread to welcome us. It really is a special place and I wish we'd had more time to enjoy it.

United KingdomNothing!
Being greeted with a still warm, homemade loaf of bread started off the stay wonderfully. The place was wonderful, the hot tub over looks the Cranbourne Estate and is beautifully clear skies at night so perfect for a little star gazing! Beautifully decorated inside the Coach House, it was a perfect little home from home. As we were celebrating my boyfriends birthday, I had asked for some decorations and we arrived to discover a balloon arch! Lovely and really friendly hosts, including the dog and cat, the cat often joined us in the evening by the hot tub which as animal lovers we loved! I could talk for hours about how wonderful our stay was here!

Everything about the property was lovely. A real treat and the host Emma had thought of everything. The weather wasn’t great but the Coach House had everything to make it a perfect and comfortable hideaway. All furnishings and facilities are finished to a high standard. A real bonus having the log burner and hot tub. The property is located really well for exploring the area.
