Parking could be better but we appreciate that due to the location/age of the building there is limited space. The loudness of customers that had been stood outside the pub where very vocal and volume of voices was over the top especially for such a lovely little village and it being the only pub in the village too, this did ruin it a tad!!

Hotel was in a perfect location to visit other destinations. Staff where friendly and approachable. Food was good and brought to us in a good amount of time, did not have to sit and wait for ages! Bedroom was a great size and lovely to have a bath and shower.

I had an issue with no hot water very early in the morning.

Fab staff who were really friendly and helpful. When I had an issue with my room Sally came to sort it out quickly and kept me up to date with what was happening. This building is really old but has the advantage of high ceilings and huge windows as well as wonky floors, beams and the odd suit of armour! Rooms are tastefully decorated and the bed is really comfy. Breakfast is wonderful. Such an extensive menu and all delicious and filling.

The historical look to it. It was an hotel, but I felt it was like a family home. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The meals were delicious and the portions were very generous.

The only problem was the fan in the bathroom which remained going for an hour after we had come out. A bit difficult during the night!

The breakfast and dinner were very good. Considering the age of the property the room was extremely well appointed with modern facilities. All of the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. A good experience which we look forward to repeating if we need to visit the area again.

Yes the room was a bit on the small size but clean and tidy. The hotel was OK but the table tops in the dining area were very sticky. Other than the staff were excellent in rolls in looking after us.

The way the room was serviced was haphazard. We were left without shower gel on two days, the teabags weren’t replenished and the biscuits sometimes weren’t We stayed in room 9 which was noisy because of the kitchen extractor which disturbed my husband, although it didn’t affect me

The breakfasts were amazing. Brilliant quality and a huge choice. We were most impressed. We ate dinner on one night of our stay and thought that was good too.

The room itself was nice but the window did not open very far and it was a very warm night also it was quite noisy with what I think was the air conditioning unit being just outside.. Decor of the room was a little tired.

The staff were excellent especially under the trying circumstances of having to cope with a gas leak. They were very helpful in recommending somewhere to eat when the dining room was unavailable in the evening and they were lovely and polite. The breakfast was lovely and nothing was too much trouble.

Old worldly charm of the historic hotel and lovely staff led by the excellent manager who went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

We stayed in room 7 which was very clean, very comfortable but noisy. Early morning refuse collection (probably out of your control) and 6 o'clock deliveries to the front of the hotel underneath our bedroom window was not what we wanted on a break away from home. If we stay again we would want a room away from above the delivery point at the front. Breakfast could run a bit smoother, no offers of more coffee etc.. Also, on one occasion I had the breakfast bap and there is a difference between toasted and charred - my mistake, I should have complained at the time but it should not have been served.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, comfortable and lovely. We loved the Olde Worlde charm of the building. Dinner on one night was very nice.

The rooms at the front get traffic noise and the not very loud radio from the next room kept us awake.

I can highly recommend the Greek restaurant Kypseli across the road. Great characteristic place to stay

Nothing it’s very, very nice.

The George is a lovely hotel with a great bar and restaurant. It’s quirky and the staff are friendly. Our room was large with high ceilings and the most comfortable bed. Facilities in the room are great with a Tv and provisions for tea & coffee. The town is gorgeous too.
