The hosts Mike and Suzie were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived quite late on our first night and Mike met us on the drive. Cottage is very cute and window overlooking the garden the go to spot for afternoon tea. Garden is lovely with lots of visiting wildlife. Pillows on the bed were particularly comfortable.

Excellent value. Warm welcome from hosts, a very clean and welcoming space including delicious homemade treats waiting for us! The location is perfect for exploring the countryside as well as short drive to towns if wanted. A very quiet and relaxing weekend, a perfect babymoon! We hope to go back as soon as able.

This property is a beautiful place of peace and quiet. It snowed whilst we were there but it was warm and cosy. We were able to sit and watch the birds on the feeders whilst getting the scones and cookies left for us by the owner.

Kitchen had everything you could wish for. The view of the garden was lovely, with plenty of birds to watch. Came home feeling really refreshed and relaxed.

This beautiful place is a real home from home. Very clean, comfortable, safe, welcoming, quiet and warm. I can't think of anything else we could possibly need.

Lovely, home from home. Well equipped kitchen. Excellent shower. Comfy bed. Lovely conservatory looking out onto garden. Comfy Sofa and all usual programs on the TV.

There was nothing to dislike.

Lovely location and the cottage was so homely and comfortable with amazing welcome gifts. In the cottage they have thought of everything. Cleaning products as well as normal washing up items, tea/coffee, cereals, some basic grocery items and a first aid kit to name a few. The place was so peaceful it was just lovely. Met the host on arrival although we had already got the keys and was offered any assistance that we might want and then spoke with them again another day. Very kind and friendly. We were so comfortable we decided not to go out for dinners but to cook there and stay in. Loved sitting in the bay window watching the birds and garden.

There was Nothing we did not like.

Very friendly hosts. We were made to feel very welcome; Bonus had a lovely food pack and Dog pack she thoroughly enjoyed her biscuits. and I must say I enjoyed the scones. There were many lovely books in the cottage telling you all about the local area. The property is remarkably close to a local grocery shop that offers all you would ever need. Many local products that were delicious and reasonable prices. There is also a 24-hour Berry hut close by selling various farm products 24 hours a day. We had one very rainy day but were told of many local walks that we enjoyed.

We were greeted by the lovely owners who showed us around and very helpful. Such a peaceful retreat, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Biscuits and cream tea left for us and bedding and towels good quality. Would book again.

Everything about our stay here was perfect. We had a lovely warm welcome from our hosts, Mike and Suzie at the start of a great two day break. The cottage was lovely, quiet, well appointed and we were spoilt with a delicious welcome pack and fresh flowers from the garden. Perfect location for the Forest of Dean and over the border into Wales. We are planning a return visit next year.

The sofa was quite small for 2 people and the blue chair was a bit uncomfortable to sit on. I noticed a few cobwebs on the ceiling in the bedroom.

Loved the pretty cottage garden & the location. Good kitchen facilities and a very comfy bed. So quiet & peaceful here. The owners were so friendly.

The cottage is delightful it's so peaceful and relaxing. Its surroundings are ideal. It's beautiful inside very clean . The bed is so comfortable, but the blue chair is very uncomfortable, but the 2 seater settee is fine. Mike,Suzie, and Sarah are lovely so helpful and kind nothing is a bother. We will definitely return. One of the best places we've ever stayed at.

Lovely property and lovely hosts. Kitchen well equipped. Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay. I've been in and out of hotels a lot over the past few months so it was so nice to have somewhere to cook, relax and sleep that wasn't 1 room. 100% recommend
