No advance notice of no food on Sunday evening. Luckily we had transport. Road a bit noisy at times. People drive fast!

Very friendly. Lovely beer and setting.

A special inn with great atmosphere and good rooms and food

There is no door seperating the room and the bathroom (might feel uncomfortable using the toilet). The staff were very kind but didn't specify the hour of the kitchen closing at night which caused a little discomfort (which they helped solving). Breakfast took a long time to be served (which delayed us from starting our day)

Very close to the perfect village of Kinver. Perfect for travelers, walking distance from Kinver's Edge. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Also there was great atmosphere in the pub in the evening. Staff were very nice.

The rooms are to a general good level but I've noticed issues with the final finish. I've raised these with the owners and hope that they will address them. i really like the place though and feel these once addressed would uplift the whole experience,

Food here is excellent, hospitality of owners also really good. There are some finishing touches that once addressed would elevate this location to my top pick.

Absolutely perfect for what we needed but please put a hanging rail in the room.

The only criticism we have is that there was nowhere in the room to hang our clothes. Even a hook on the back of the door would have been OK but there was nothing.

This was a great place to stay close to family. The service was great and very friendly and the room was large, comfortable and very clean.

The overall appearance of the pub upon arrival, belies its overall appeal after you have settled in. Needs a bit of tidying outside.

We liked the "restaurant standard" food which was exceptional. We had Dover sole & Rib eye steak. Both were cooked perfectly & the quality of the meat/fish was excellent. The cooked breakfast in the morning was to an equal standard. If you are looking for better than "pub grub" then the Fox is worth a visit.

The staff were fantastic, the venue was beautiful. Great outdoor spaces. Very accommodating. When food wasn't available at the restaurant there was a pizza shack on site & theyre highly recommend. The room we had was lovely, I'd make a tweak or two on the breakfast but, it took nothing away from the lovely stay we had here for a wedding reception.

Music could be heard until 1am and people talking until 3am. This was heard very loudly in our room directly above the bar and kept me awake until early hours. For this reason I would not return.

Stylish room with huge comfy bed. Friendly staff who were very helpful with dietary requirements. Lovely breakfast.

    - not knowing where to go on arrival (no lobby, you just ask at the bar) - staff lacking product knowledge - untidy and littered public areas - incredibly slow service - food was passable but not great - bedroom was fine but the bathroom was dated, the walls were stained and paint peeling off. - handheld shower holder was broken - slow draining wash basin - mismatched plastic coat hangers - no body wash (but shampoo, conditioner, lotion and shower cap was provided) - no spear loo roll (the one on the holder was partially used). - no hand towel - camp beds made up in our room that weren’t requested (in addition to a double bed which was very comfortable). Probably didn’t help that this isn’t somewhere we’d choose to stay, as it was for an event.

A few spots missed by cleaning. Noise carries from bar and patio.

Outstanding level of service by all staff, especially the chef and servers at dinner. Very nice back patio to have a drink on. Ample free parking. Modern, large refurbished room.

    Everything was perfect

The staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean and with all extra little touches. Staff had a table for us to eat dinner at, after a long journey. All good was cooked fresh and extremely good value for money. We had a lovely freshly cooked breakfast, plenty of choice. The owner also made us a packed lunch out of the kindness of his heart for us to take to the safari park that we were visiting, such a lovely gesture. We will definitely be returning. He also gave our children Easter eggs with breakfast, again a lovely added touch.

Our room was next to a main road with no AC so with windows open road noise was a big problem from 5.30 with road noise. Also the carpets were dirty and it seems the shower room had not been finished, and no place to hang clothes.

The beds we’re comfortable, the breakfast was good, the location and gardens were good.
