Our bathroom had an off putting smell to it and the courtyard below was a little loud till late.

The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean, we like the decor very much. The two young members of staff were really helpful.

The heating was on full which we couldn’t turn down so slept with fan and window open all night Hisband did not sleep well due to this

The location was great although no breakfast,everything in the room was thought out even down to the coffee station and fridge the key open door was great

The close proximity to Leek centre. Extremely clean, comfortable, relaxing, with everything needed in accessibility. We've stayed here before & would certainly stay again. Breakfast isn't provided, however there's plenty of cafes within a short walking distance, so never an issue for us .

Perfect place to stay for a night in Leek. Lovely little room, close to all amenities in the town, clean and comfortable, with a great pub downstairs. What's not to like?

The stairs up to the rooms are quite steep, the staff could have offered to carry my bag and provided a bit more of a welcome and information/ask if I needed to know more - took a while for me to realise there was fresh milk in the fridge in the cupboard. There was nowhere to park outside the pub on this occasion, and suggest to add as a request on booking, for 1 of the 2 spaces next to the pub, but there is parking nearby. Some suggestions for places for breakfast in the guest book would be useful. A full length mirror would be useful.

My second stay at the Fountain Inn for an event in town, the rooms are beautifully furnished, very comfortable beds and good quality bedlinen. Coffee, tea biscuits and a kettle are provided. Although the rooms are above the bar there's no noise. Room 1 is very spacious with a view of the church directly opposite, room 2 on my second stay is cosy although with a view of a car park - I stayed on a Saturday night when it was closed but possibly busy on weekdays. A very short walk into the town centre for pubs/cafes etc

Parking could be tricky but I found an overnight spot nearby. There was live music which I could hear in the room, it’s a pub, so that’s to be expected.

There was a gap in the bed between the matresses which I kept rolling into but otherwise the bed was comfortable. Parking was difficult and had to move the car in the morning.

The property has its own entrance with key code entry. The room was spotlessly clean and there was plenty of tea/coffee etc. iron and ironing board definitely a plus. Also really good location. The shower was great really powerful just how I like it.

The shower door needs a little bit of attention, and a bit of sealing.

No breakfast available, but plenty choices nearby. Lovely central location. Comfortable cosy room, quite small but perfectly adequate. Nice quality bed, sheets, towels, and pillows. And fresh milk in the little fridge.

Spacious, lovely family room with everything we needed. Pleasant and accomodating staff. Key code system was easy to use and meant we could come back to the room at any time. Never heard any noise from the pub or other guests.

Not much to complain about - obviously you're over a pub so that comes with a certain amount of noise, but not so late into the night that it was a problem. The room is opposite the street to a church but you don't feel particularly overlooked.

The rooms was lovely, clean and comfortable. It had everything I needed for my short stay. I went for a wedding and was able to get a cab from the inn. The separate entrance and pin code entry made everything really easy. It was only a short stay, but the property perfectly met my expectations.

Shower head was broken and made it tricky to shower in. Reported to landlord who actively sought feedback.

The only negative was that the toilet was smelly. It was clean but smelt of stagnant water. It wasn't dirty, though. If not for the smell I would have given full marks.

The room looked lovely, and the barman who checked me in was pleasant and polite.
