A lovely old inn in a small, remote village. Friendly staff, good food. We had a very relaxed overnight stay and would come back if we're in the area again.

The bed was a bit hard. But that's being picky!

Smallish room but ok for a couple of nights. Great location to get out an about the Cotswolds. Excellent food. Staff very attentive. Excellent for couples. Not so great for kids I would think.

The fact that booking.com took money from my account when I’d been told by the pub manager that we could pay on arrival. Also that booking .com said the booking would be cancelled unless I paid the full amount which was over £1000.really unhappy about this.

Location stunning. Great breakfast, staff were incredible.

Beautiful pub situated in the most picturesque village. It really was peaceful, evening meal was lovely and the breakfast great too! The rooms are small however this is addressed before booking so it wasn't a suprise. Small but nicely furnished, thank you for a lovely stay.

There wasn't anything not to like, we will definitely come again and recommend to anyone visiting the Cotswolds

The pub was very old and Quirky, the weather was good so we could enjoy the beer garden. The food was nice and service very good,. The head waiter was excellent, he couldn't do enough to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. It was a very relaxing weekend, just what the doctor ordered.

Because it is a real 16th century inn there is only a tiny spiral stair case and no lift. If you have mobility issues you should probably stay somewhere else.

The coolest place I have ever stayed. So authentic. Food downstairs was great. Better than the photos even described.
