If you are not able to do stairs think twice before booking!

The staff could not have been more friendly. We were able to check in early, she gave us local taxi number, had a chat with us about where everything was while we had a drink at their bar. Honestly the women working when we checked in is an absolute star!

I found the bedroom too hot as there was a heater on all night. The carpark was busy with cars for an art course. We had requested a parking space. Luckily we got one nearby.

A great location, very pleasant dining room. Owners are friendly.

Breakfast could have been a little more gluten free and vegan friendly, though they did try. Fresh fruit would have been welcome.

I hadn't realised the room was up 2 flights of stairs - my fault for not checking. It wouldn't have affected my booking but I did find stairs difficult with arthritis.

Food was amazing, location perfect, staff friendly, accommodation comfortable and warm.

Perfect location in West Bay with ample free parking. Lovely comfortable bed, large room. Lovely cosy bar with lovely log fire - great place to meet the locals. Everyone so friendly there!

We stayed during a cold snap and the room was extremely cold on arrival; whilst the heating was kept on we ended up borrowing a hot water bottle from the owners’ family. There were no blankets in the room. I must acknowledge that this was all addressed and by the following night the room was toasty and we had a blanket, all resulting in a much more comfortable night.

Lovely location, amazing staff - very friendly owner and family. The room was a good size and had a super shower, coffee-making facilities and comfortable beds. The Durbeyfield was very dog-friendly. The cosy, licensed snug with the football showing and beer on tap.

Nothing matched it was a huge room but sadly wasn't very welcoming which for the price was disappointing

Breakfast was great, as much as you wanted, helpful friendly service. Location was perfect for what we wanted, close to a restaurant, close to the beach and harbour. Staff generally friendly and happy.

If anything to mention, the room was a bit too warm for us at night, but I guess it`s just personal preference.

Location is unbeatable - the bay and the beach is literally 3 minutes walk away. Breakfast was delicious (english breakfast and small cereal boxes and jams are available) - we both had the vegetarian sausage what was an absolute positive surprise. It wasn`t something to mimic meat, but almost like hash brown in a sausage shape wit different veggies mixed in (if that makes sense). Lovely.
