We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United Kingdomthe door to the lodge (annexe building) was so lodge and slammed shut every time somebody went through it. Surely adding a simple soft closure would prevent guests in nearby rooms being constantly disturbed? Would definitely recommend asking for a room away from this external door! Also, we had breakfast surrounded by guest la there for a wedding. we felt like we were in the way and imposing in their space. The hotel claimed there was a separate dining room for guests who were not attending the wedding so this should have been used for breakfast as well as evening meal. our breakfast was £16.50 each but only included regular filter coffee and was the ready cooked food clearly off the buffet rather than being freshly cooked to order. We left without eating it. Then a staff member rang us to say we hadn’t paid for our breakfasts! They realised their mistake after we asked them to double check and then they apologised, but when I mentioned that we hadn’t enjoyed the breakfast and had left without eating it I would have expected more of an apology or a refund- but nothing. Such a beautiful setting and a warm welcome so it felt a shame that we left feeling unhappy and disappointed when a couple of simple changes or a refund of our breakfast would have made the world of difference.

Fantastic location - easy 2 minute walk to Woodall Spa Golf Clubhouse. Staff marvelous - nothing was too much trouble. Bar area very relaxing - shame sun was shining so that we could have enjoyed the outside area.

The dinner I attended was superb. Having friends in catering up to the top class I can only give the ultimate catering accolade, "Chefie had a bit of luck!" Room was so spacious and relaxing, (No.4), everything just so. Shower, well what can i say, never felt so clean! Staff, so friendly, helpful and made me feel very welcome. Waiter service; you would hardly notice they were there, like ghosts; perfection.
