Single glazed windows so room got cold quickly. Kept heating on in bedroom but bathroom was very cold. Curtains were not black out so up early from the light. Lots of noise from pub although were left with ear buds. Mattress very hard. Overall still fairly happy due to low cost but curtains are a small and easy fix for the stay to be more comfortable.

Good value for money. Right in the centre of Fakenham. Pub downstairs was nice. Supplied with soap and coffee. Breakfast included

We knew there was live music/disco on Fridays & Saturdays but was very loud and because our room was on the side of the alley where the outside tables were it was even louder.This could be the reason we would think before we booked again if something else close by was available to book.

Visiting family in area so very convenient.Hotel breakfast very good.Room comfortable. Could do with hooks in the bathroom to hang dressing gown,towels etc.Also something to hold onto for getting in and of the bath

Apart from the shower head I can’t really complain as I only stayed during the week so I wouldn’t know if the weekends are as bad as I’ve read

Overall the crown was perfect for what I needed. The only criticism I will make is that maybe just maybe a small investment of new shower heads would be beneficial

Just a couple of really minor bits at breakfast but nothing to spoil the stay (had to ask for plates and cups as there weren’t any left out but young girl was very apologetic and soon sorted) I liked that eggs where cooked to ordet

Wasn’t sure what to expect with the price we paid but was very pleasantly surprised, room was clean, tidy,warm,had the equipment required and was a good size. Staff where polite and helpful and the independent access was great as we had our dog with us

Our night stay was very noisy due to the disco operating till 1am. It would have been good to have been informed of this in advance

The accommodation was good, but one of the rooms were not readied and the washroom had cleaning liquid in the WC and shower area.

The room overlooked the side alley and that was a bit noisy later in the evening and at around 5.00am in the morning. Wi-Fi was poor, ended up hotspotting my own phone

Don't think there was much I didn't like.

It was just where we needed to be , we had tickets for Thursford Christmas Spectacular so staying here was just right the room was big with a comfortable bed and warm had a very large bathroom, the breakfast was excellent a help yourself set up really enjoyed it , the first night we had dinner at the hotel I had Lamb which was to die for my Husband had Gamon which he said was very good.

The cold plates after telling the chef they were warm next morning The toaster took so long to do the toast, they really need a new one The cereals were not good quality, and the hoops was nearly empty both mornings,

Booked an evening meal , the menu looked very good however we got cold food served on cold plates we sent the meal back then got a very similar cold meal again, this was also the same with the people on the next table

I would have given 10 for everything except really cold in areas our bedroom okish but my friends was really freezing as the organiser I felt really bad entertainment brill also one staff cleaner a bit rude said we needed to have been out of room 20 mins ago but breakfast was on till ten so also she was cleaning another room we were just in our way any way

The only slight downside was the lack of soundproofing in the room we were in, we had to listen to next doors television programme until after 12.30 am and then again from 7.0am in the morning and we didn't feel that giving a pair of ear plugs was really the answer.

The hotel was comfortable and clean with a comfortable bed and good food. Checking in and out was easy and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a hot buffet breakfast with a good range of food.
