Soap dish in bathroom for soap provided, or a fitted dispenser would be a good idea.

The staff were all excellent and happy to help. The beautiful location. The atmosphere in the bar. We stayed in ‘The Barn’ which was lovely and quiet, even on New Year’s Eve. All in all a fabulous stay 🤩

No covered access to annex rooms.. not so good in stormy weather. Food quite pricey and not very many vegetarian options

We only stopped Christmas night. We stayed here same time last year and that's why we came back, but in a superior room. It was an upgrade . Nothing to complain about it was excellent.!!

Nothing to dislike. Although paying was a palaver. We ended up overpaying, but they were quick to identify and address the issue.

We liked the welcome we received. The size of the room. decor, cleanliness. We enjoyed the comfort of fluffy bath towels and robes. Fabulous food in the restaurant for evening meal and breakfast.

There could have been a refrigerator with provision for fresh milk and chilled water, wine and soft drinks.

Beautiful spacious and comfortable loft suite, great to chill and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the main building. Great waterfall cascade shower. Coffee maker was excellent and a nice addition.

The real ale choices in the bar. The new owners have removed the Yorkshire ales, and replaced them with their own. So if you're not a Robinson's fan you're out of luck - like I was.

Restaurant food very good, so was breakfast. Free upgrade was very much appreciated!

The room I was in by was on the main road and the traffic noise woke me at 04.00 in the morning and I struggled to get back to sleep due to continued traffic noise.

Late night TV noise & door-banging. (The noise from corridor & other rooms travels in the block)

Enjoyed the stay. Easy check-in. Well appointed rooms in a separate block at the back. Bustling pub (on a Friday evening) with plenty of staff. Best part was the full English breakfast served with a smile.

The only thing I can think of is more butter portions on the table at breakfast time other than that it's great .

Breakfast is great , always fresh and hot. Staff very attentive, nothing is a problem and are always smiling .

The walk from the car park to the front door where the path meets the steps down to the front entrance could do with a light as my wife had a nasty fall there
