Cosy as the name suggests. Comfortable sofa & bed. Excellent communication from host. Stayed with my cousin as we travelled up to see a gig, but would be ideal for a couple.

The owner of this property is a con man and also rude ! we reported the toilet wouldn’t flush after it had been used once ,the system had no water in it so we then tried to turn the valve at the bottom of the toilet to fill and flush the valve fell of. We reported this immediately to say we was not liable and it was already broken to be told we are losing our £100 deposit ! He sent us screenshots of the previous person who hired this and they clearly state the toilet had to be flushed twice which clearly means the system was not filling correctly. We have tried arguing that we are not to blame and why should we pay for damages we did not cause. he then referred to us as cheapskates trying to avoid paying for damages! Absolutely shocking behaviour from this man would recommend people stay away from renting this property before he scams you for his repairs

If I had to be very picky, a bin in the en-suite would have been handy, and bigger bath towels maybe, but none of that took away from our stay.

This is in a lovely quiet location, very close the the town centre. The cottage really is very cosy and had everything we needed.

Needed to get away for a night from work/life. younger brother and mum visited but brother ended up staying because of how nice this property was. Great it had two bedrooms both with TVs netflix,sky glass,prime etc all provided! Nice and clean. Really cosy! Absolute in love with garden has a cute patio with lighting outside with the chairs to comfortably sit and enjoy whether you having a cuppa outiside or going for a smoke. Bathrooms were nice and clean as well which i always look at when travelling because i am OCD like that. The owner is really friendly too didnt get to meet face to face but the interactions from booking to leaving cottage has been 10/10. Will be booking again soon and leaving another review hopefully. Thankyou again!

I thought I had booked three bedrooms, I did not realise it was extra to unlock the third bedroom (it was in the small print). Pleasant cottage.

Bit hard to find as the check-in video was NOT SENT through in time until after I had arrived at the property and been messaging the owners for instructions, but the owners were helpful, responsive and friendly. Parking was very limited and turning circle in road very tight. Weird Rastafarian figurine in front room was a bit odd tbh and out of keeping with the rest of decor. Property was VERY noisy, with a constant banging from bedroom ceiling, creaky stairs and a main bedroom that dropped to being cold as ice and wouldn't warm. So in the end gave up and went home. Main power shower was cold, but the electric one worked ok. Pipework in the property may some need attention or alternatively property may need a mild exorcism lol

Lovely modern decor, strong wifi, comfy sofas nice big telly. Modern central heating that worked everywhere apart from main bedroom. Lovely owners who were very helpful.

Nothing not to like.

As the title says cost, tucked away and everything you needed to have a relaxing stay!! Bedrooms lovely and comfortable with great shower facilities. Living room perfect to relax. Parking is outside the property and a quiet access road. We used it as a base to get to holmfirth for a concert. This was a 20 min journey
