There seemed to be a problem with WiFi, but no doubt just a temporary glitch, and staff replied quickly to question.

Comfortable quiet clean room and good central location in small historic almost hidden lane off Union Street. Clear communications with staff via text, e.g. for hotel access.

The king bed is so large it makes the room seem a bit small, but it was still comfortable for my needs.

This little getaway is in the heart of everything you need, from cafes to bars to shops. The space is clean and modern and historic!

In a quaint area, close to lots of eating places. A reasonable walk from the train station. Great location to allow for a tour to Balmoral.

I found the numbers on the lock boxes hard to read. No hot water available for showers which was inconvenient but I was contacted and the manager offered a partial refund on the room rate as compensation.

Cannot see on details anywhere that rooms are up 2 flights of stairs. This could present a problem for some guests. Our shower was cold in the morning. Reported this by ringing contact number given then went next door for breakfast. Text received to say fixed but we did not see anyone and the water was still not hot. By then was nearing our check out time so we had to leave without a shower. Disappointing as everything else was good.

Good location in city centre but quiet no passing traffic or noise from outside or other guests. Clean comfortable room.

The hotel is close to lots of pubs which can be a plus for some. The downside being the noise level after they have closed, even with double glazed windows. But the hotelis located in the city centre so noise has to be expected.

The Coffee House right in the centre of Aberdeen, within walking distance His Majestys Theatre, and about 200 yds from Union Street. The room had a kingsize bed with flatscreen TV.It also had Tea/Coffee making facilities.

    - appears there was a used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. Unless that’s how they leave it to dry hands? If so, maybe have it folded so people know it’s not used. - maybe to the welcome message write spots where people can park so no parking fees, and easy to access. - wifi didn’t work for me. They didn’t know the staff password to try and help - although not sure if it was something wrong in the area or just the hotel.

    Nice location. Good for value

Just the thin walls and lack of internet!

Absolutely loved the room and the location. Everything was clean, comfortable and the showers were lush. The only bits that let it down were the thin walls (we could hear other guests chatting late at night) and the terrible wifi. Other than that we loved it.

Comfortable stay for a night and reasonably priced but not 4 star.
    • Leisure trip

The room was rather small - there was one chair provided, but not really anywhere to sit (the chair 'lived' in the bottom of the open shelving/wardrobe and there wasn't much space at one side of the bed. It is stated that it's a four star hotel and that is not the case. The sign for the hotel was only visible when walking along the street from one direction so we walked past it at first.

The location was excellent - very handy for the centre of the city. Our room was beautifully quiet, facing the back. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very nice bathroom. The heating worked well and was controllable and the window opened for fresh air. The only staff member we saw was a cleaner - she was friendly and pleasant.
