Tepid shower, mismatched furniture (modern and cheap), poor maintenance, fire doors held open with fire extinguishers, cobwebs in bathroom, no spare bedding, 2 hangers in wardrobe.

The floor was too much noise when we walk. No heater on n we tried to on but the nob came in my hand was not nice 😏

Room located across major road in annexe building, bed was so uncomfortable that it required replacement, no soap in bathroom or illuminated shaving mirror, fried breakfast didn’t meet expectations. Never seen or tried to use such small flimsy toilet paper squares only 3.5” square. Try that! No seal on over bath shower screen allowing water to flood floor.

The first room was small, located up a tight staircase and the only window wouldn't shut. Not enought working space, like a desk. The bed was not comfortable. The hotel is on 2 sites; split across the busy Main Road. I should have checked but there is no evening restaurant there or even close. Other guests were getting food from the local Esso garage. I ordered from JustEat and the hotel staff allowed me to eat in their breakfast area.

Location-wise, very good for my meeting. The breakfast was very good. A member of staff was very helpful as they not only helped me change room (a skylight window- the only window - wouldn't shut) and got a larger room as I'm quite tall.

The maintenance of the en-suite could have been better. It appeared to need some urgent /maintenance upgrading. Shower control looked like it had been gluded on, but fell off when you used it. Radiator in bathroom had not controls so could not use it. Noise from upstairs was very load even heard them snoring through the night, soundproofing would help this to keep noise to a minimum for all guests.

Breakfast was very good and hot, lots of choice, staff very helpful. All the staff we met were very nice and helpful. Pleased room was on the ground floor. Water was hot and room was comfortable.

Being disabled and asking for a ground floor room and given an upstairs room which was nice ..but omg the stairs were awful for my wife..They stressed her badly..but a nice stay.

Unclean, snot rubbed on the walls of the bedroom this had not been cleaned off from the last person or persons that stay there, the remote control did not work and it was not the batteries because we changed them.

There was no atmosphere in the evenings as it has a bar but not using it really so if you were on your own wouldn't be ideal. Its a lovely building and has potential. Also it just did breakfast which was delicious and so shame it didn't do food other times of day. You have to go to romford for food which meant have to leave the hotel which is hard when with someone with mobility issues.

A very comfortable stay with a friendly feel, good breakfasts and location easy to romford. My mum had mobility issues and they gave me a ground floor room near breakfast room which was great. All clean and a good standard for what I was expecting.

We were put into another building across the road which was a pain and not ideal if you have mobility issues. Our room key failed to open our room every single time which meant I needed to walk back to the main building across the road. We only had 1 pillow each and when we asked for more we were told there was none available.

The bathroom was disgraceful. Cracks on the tub,rough patches around and silicone pilled on top of old one . When we went for our breakfast 30 minutes before the closing time ,they was no eggs ,mushrooms and barely anything to eat apart from toast . I asked for mushrooms and was told they were none left ,we couldn’t request how we wanted our eggs to be done . The service was poor and only managed a slice of toast . Very disappointing overall

No freash fruit at the breakfast buffet. Limited parking immediately outside the hotel building, although there was a notice directing to alternative parking nearby.

Comfortable bed. Clean and freash room. Good breakfast and service. We were able to park close to our rooms. Quiet night. Warm room. Windows open. Good shower. Tea and coffee in room. The room size was small but adequate for a short stay.

Heating, everywhere in the hotel was boiling, heating all on full 24hrs a day, had to get them to turn ours off as the thermostat was broken and the room was Ike a sauna, had to have the windows open all night and our room was at the front of the building on the main road just up the road from a police station, so as you can imagine no sleep, even with the rad off still sweltering, not a comfortable 2 nights. PLEASE TURN THE HEAT DOWN! Staff was a little funny with us when we first arrived as I did not bring photo I.d so make sure you remember that, didn't see it in the very small fine print on the booking confirmation. Exepted my credit card in the end, but unnecessary stress after a long journey there. The rest of the staff were lovely.

Very clean, breakfast was more than expected and bar was cheap, just up the road from town center so good location. Most of the staff we very polite and helpful.
