Very good enjoyed our short break holiday

The is still only one the size of the first room we were off given was far to small as a double room.

Breakfast was very good. As for the rooms, the first room we were given was so small we had to turn sideways to get round the bed, asked to be moved which we were and this was very good. Only dined once in the hotel on the the first night as we prefer to dine at midday.

There wasn't much room one side of the double bed so you couldn't get out of bed that side, perhaps bed needed to be more central and a side table both sides. I got asked if we had been in the restaurant for lunch, as someone had put their lunch on our room number. We had only checked in at 3,15ish and didnt even have a room number then and we had been in Morrisons for lunch. I was told this would be taken off but when we checked out the following day we got told there was £40 to pay for the lunch the previous day. I explained the whole thing again but was upset that the lady hadn't already dealt with it when we first checked in. The man said he thought he knew who it was that had given our room number and it was sorted.

Lovely clean room with sea views.

We were told breakfast wasnt included in the price but if we had wanted breakfast we could order the night before at £15 each. Or pay as you go, but we're told that would prob work out more expensive. Why can't you decide on the morning if you want to pay the £15 rather than night before, as you don't necessarily know if you want full breakfast. The property met our expectations apart from this and felt for the cost of the room breakfast should have been included.

Lovely clean and newly decorated. Sea view and upstairs as promised.

The price are a little higher than the other nearby properties however I think they’re justified. Our room included a minibar however the prices were only what you would expect from any other pub.

The hotel is beautifully decotares and it was definitely worth the extra small amount of money for the larger room. The view is fantastic and it is only a short walk from the centre of Cromer and the sea.

Fire alarm sounding at 5.50 am one morning. When my wife politely mentioned this to a member of staff she looked at my wife and said “So!!”, which was rude and not customer friendly. The other members of staff were lovely and very helpful. Altogether our stay was very good and we will return here as my wife was born in Sheringham and we have many family members in the area.

No breakfast included in the price. £15 per head charged if you wanted breakfast - which was expensive. Lovely views overlooking sea and town a short walk away.

Being woken up at 6am by a malfunctioning fire alarm - and then being left wondering. The time it took from sitting down to supper and getting some food - 45mins.

Very nice room with sea view. Spotlessly clean. Very unusual and lovely dining room/bar. Delicious Cromer crab salad. Great location with easy access to the town.

Room and bathroom were very small. The windows and woodwork on the exterior needed some attention. Parking during high season could be an issue.

It was clean and comfortable, a bit dated, but a lot of history. Friendly pleasant staff..

This was the more expensive option of accommodation. The room was small with very little storage, bathroom was so small, you had to work your way around the door and close it to get to the toilet and bath glass door would not move, so access to bath was difficult..

Great Hotel and staff, Breakfast is excellent, well worth it. Very.comfortable bed...and good blackout curtains...

There’s not much to fault at the cliftonville hotel as I had a enjoyable stay but if it had a fault then the Wi-Fi was pretty bad as after I connected to the Wi-Fi, it then after a while later dropped out and couldn’t get it back so I gave up on it. In todays world that should be the basics and hopefully good wifi. Didn’t report it as I only stayed one night so not a problem but may be a problem if I stayed longer.

I had a lovely sea view room with lovely chairs by the window looking out towards the sea, I could sit there all day. The room was cosy, clean and comfortable. Not much to fault. Staff were friendly and helpful. I had an enjoyable stay and would stay again if ever in Cromer again.

Far too much potato and bread with the crab salad. The crab was great. The salad was good but not enough of it but unfortunately the dish was over-run with potato and bread. Fewer spuds, cut the bread and more salad and the dish is a winner. The crab was amazing - just lost amid the carbohydrates...

The breakfast is outstanding. Convenient location. Staff are super-friendly and eager to assist without being intrusive.

Sunday we went out for the day and we were disappointed that a 4-star hotel does not have evening bar food. So we just had a bowl of chips.

Love the place!!! Will go there again and again. Room 19 is now our favourite room great view and just the right size.

Warm welcome on arrival. Location was perfect and had a room with sea view. Room had a Kingsize bed and was very comfortable. There was plenty of coffee and different flavoured teas in the room. Overall the room was well equipped and nicely presented with white bedding, white towels, hairdryer and plenty of storage and seating within the room.
