We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomBedrooms were basic and sound proofing was not good. Although in the countryside, views were limited to the allotments next door, caravan park homes and a few fields occupied by cows. Facilities were very limited - combined reception / bar / lounge. Very much a restaurant with rooms.
The food was excellent. Menu was limited, but adequate. The two dining rooms were attractive.Quiet location, out of town. Ample parking.

United KingdomBlinds in bedroom were really flimsy and let in loads of light, so woke up at 5am. Could have done with a black-out blind or curtains. Owners/staff seemed a bit down and dour. Not sure if that was just their way or if they were having a bad week.
Great location. I have stayed in many hotels and BnBs before, and thought I'd had the best breakfast a while ago - but this place exceeded ALL my breakfast expectations, and it was truly delicious! *Real* sourdough bread, amazing eggs and field mushrooms. Thank you. Views were delightful. Lovely spot across the river for a cafe and paddle (if you are so inclined) - and then a pleasant (uphill) walk into town.

New ZealandOur room looked out to a view over the kitchen roof and beyond to the fields. However, the ventilation ducts on the roof created a constant hum while the kitchen was working. However, this stopped around 10pm and didn't start again until 7.45, and if the window was closed, it did not pose a problem. Shower nozzle difficult to position for comfortable showering experience, seemed loose in holder.
