Fantastic staff, very friendly and full of insider tips for how to make the most of our stay in Stratford. Gorgeous decor and very comfortable bed plus the best croissants ever for breakfast! Would highly highly recommend

Too short a stay in Stratford. Hotel and all - loved it. :)

Room size and content were great. Big separate bathroom. Enjoyed continental breakfast. Location was really good, with walk to all of our main requirements. We stayed on 2nd floor which we thought might pose (75yo) a problem but stairs OK and on arrival "The Friendly Big Guy" :) carried both huge cases - one in each hand - to the room. Other guy carried down and then arranged Uber no cost cab (we did not have a phone or account) to the station! Great service and left a warm memory of our stay.

A complimentary breakfast was provided, but it was quite basic and could have been presented better. Cereals, coffee, croissants etc had to be carried from small stairwell area to the main dining room next door.

The food available didn’t appeal to us and with my partner being celiac there was almost nothing he could have. However, Stratford is fantastic for gluten free places to eat so it wasn’t a major issue.

Very comfortable, clean, quiet room with everything we needed for a couple of nights break away. Parking 5 mins walk away & reasonably priced (11/12 pounds per night). Staff were friendly and helpful. Fridge & coffee making facilities in the room were spot on.

Perfect location, quiet and yet close to to everything in Stratford you'd want to see. Beautiful building, well equipped rooms, fridge, iron, hairdryer....... Short walk from the main multistorey car park, which is very reasonably priced for an overnight stay. Short walk to the theatre. Friendly and very professional staff.

It's a shame that there was no milk in the room – I didn't realise until I made my tea and then I had to go out.

The bathroom was on the small size. Okay for me but a larger person may find it quite compact. Because the hotel is in the town centre the High Street has traffic noise, although nothing during the night time. I would prefer not to be woken by traffic at 6.30am, but perhaps I price it more as I live in a very quiet area.

The Superior Single room was a generous size with a good size bed. The room was tastefully furnished with soft natural coloured decor. Excellent quality curtains too.

Nothing at all. You have to accept that buildings of this age are quirky and so for my party not an issue rather a bonus to be in an old and characterful place as opposed to a modern hotel.

A very friendly and professional welcome. The continental breakfast was fine for me and cooked breakfast was available if required. The location of the hotel for our trip to the RSC was perfect, just a short walk away.
