There is nothing I can complain about other than the weather & that is out of our control 😁

The room & balcony was spacious, beautifully decorated with some lovely extras. The staff were very friendly, helpful & catered for our very large golden retriever without even asking, he was made very comfortable....The hotel position was stunning. The food was gorgeous.

The property felt personal and welcoming. Comfortable and very clean. An older style property decorated sympathetically with a fresh feel. Dining area has wonderful views over the river. Lovely atmosphere in the bar lounge area with comfy sofas. Open drinks terrace looked like it would be stunning on a beautiful day.

Room, being above the bridge ttraffic lights was rather noisy!

Excellent breakfast, both choice of food and service and table setting. In fact I hopped across the bridge and bought six cereal bowls! Suggestion of walk along the river to Dinham followed both ways.

Nothing much, very nice small hotel.

Stayed in a 'small double', which was accurate but room was fine for one night. Room was nicely decorated with a great view across the river to Ludlow. Good breakfast (with even better views). Hotel is 10 minutes walk from the town centre, or 30 minutes if you take the scenic route behind the hotel with views of the town and castle. Didn't try the restaurant as a function on so no comment on the food, but we did eat at the sister establishment The Church pub and that was nice. (Someone from the Charlton did ring a week ahead and offered to book a table there for us which was thoughtful).

Our attic room had very low beams, which made moving around tricky, and there was an awkward step in the bathroom. Restaurant starters were a bit ‘niche’

Picturesque location, good sized car park (although this got very busy considering it was a Tuesday evening), lovely bar and restaurant areas serving tasty food and beer, very clean and nice decor

Would have given the top rating but for one member of staff at breakfast time who didn't appear to be enjoying her job and made us feel as if we were an inconvenience. A real shame as all other members of staff were polite and helpful.

The location, warm, clean room over looking the river.

    Can't think of anything.

The location is amazing, next to the River Teme. The room was lovely and clean with great facilities. We had two breakfasts and an evening meal, all were well presented and delicious. The staff couldn't do enough for us. This is the second year we've stayed at the hotel.
