Great room for this money

Keys worked for front door and our bedroom door, which then made us wonder if everyone had the same key, could they have let themselves into our room with their key?

Accommodation was very clean, my only niggle was that at 0645 in the morning we could hear someone in another room being sick, but that’s not to do with the owners/managers. But walls seemed pretty thin. Great stay, would definitely recommend it or return ourselves.

There were a couple of things that could be improved. Firstly, it was on a main road, at the front and ground floor. There were NO net curtains for privacy so I had to close the night curtains and use the lights from 3pm arrival or I felt like I was on display. Secondly, it was freezing in the room and the only working radiator was a small towel rail. I tried to turn up the radiator but it didn’t come on. Luckily, there was another single bed so I slept under two duvets. There is NO soundproofing at all and floors really creak. There was a couple in a room near mine who were very noisy and I think she must have seen a spider or something as at 8am I was woken to loud screaming and jumping around! No safe available so brought a lockable case to hide belongings. Someone left the back door open a couple of times and the back gate wasn’t locked so could have been more secure.

It was clean and had all amenities needed. It was good value for money and parking on site was a real bonus. The communal kitchen was clean and tea/coffee and milk was provided. There was a fridge to put your food and a microwave if you need it. There is a tv area and a small lounge (no tv in room). It was easy to call the staff to gain access key. Good wi-fi.

Everything was just fine. The house and the room were very clean and confortable. It had all the necessary equip ment for our stay. We will recommend it for sure.

There was not enough parking for all guests.

It was hard to get out of the parking space at the back as my car is long , I was in the pce closest to the house & with a car parked next to me it was hard to get a wide enough sweep to avoid contact and unfortunately scraped my car on the concrete post , I was probably a little tired & it was early in the morning so my fault but nevertheless frustrating. I would suggest to try and help that the post has a rubber protective put on the corner so at least it would limit any damage to cars experiencing the same difficulties as me in the future.

Smell on the carpet. Former customer might throw up or spit some drink on the floor, so the smells stink. I barely slept even I opened the window for whole night.

Getting the room key is a bit difficult, my English is poor and you need to call an authorized person by phone to get the room key. In places that work this way, it is more convenient to send instructions to us by e-mail.

The rooms were clean and the gardens were beautiful. You also have the opportunity to prepare something of your own in the kitchen.

There wasn't much to complain about, it was in a nice area (kinda far from the city centre but close to a bus stop that takes you into the city) and very comfortable.

The set up of the entire building was great- It was nice to have access to a kitchen and the room was a good size and had a private bathroom, which was great.

Incomplete kitchen utensils, which makes the cooking a bit difficult. No knife and chopping board available :( ( I had to use a butter knife to cut the ingredients) Bit hard to find the right entry to the house cause it's a very busy road and the house doesn't have a huge sign with it.

The apartment is beautiful!! The room has been set as a proper hotel room. Provide everything you need. The common area is shared, living room, dining room, kitchen, and a big backyard. I can park my car right outside the house which is super convenient. One of the rooms is right next to the front door which is very good for us as we have elder people who can't really climb the stairs. Dishwasher available!! Hot water for the shower is very strong.

Something really needs to be done about the parking space. It is a really narrow alley that leads to the parking place and at night it gets really dark and there is a neighbor's dog which keeps barking incessantly. It's really bad and we got our car scratched because of the really narrow place for parking.

The place was neat and clean and had everything one could need. The common area was also large enough. The location is fantastic if you are visiting Cambridge for a day by car. Amazing price for the location and amazing facilities as well.

The sink was very low and we had to turn to sit on the loo. Our room was at the front of the house and traffic was quite noisy but there was a third glazing inside of the window. This is, of course, outside of Tas's control. The accommodation is a short bus ride from town but about an hour's walk from town, in case you wanted to walk.

The check in process is really straightforward. There is no one to check you in but you call a number and they walk you through it. Communication was excellent from Tas accommodations, expertly explaining the location and parking etc. Also the room was spotlessly clean. We came on a very cold day and the heating was really good and powerful.
