Evening meal little bit confusing if we could eat or not on our arrival even though I made the call to the Hotel an hour before arrival to check.

The staff member who checked us in was bizarrely rude and condescending for no reason. Could do with some upkeep, the room was outdated and needed a coat of paint.

The radiator thermostat came off in my hand, so I couldn't adjust the temperature. I had requested a twin room when booking, but it came through as three singles. The duty manager eventually said he'd change that, but then proceeded to give me a double room. I came down for breakfast within 30 minutes of it finishing, yet the food available was scarce or a little dry, with no indication they would refresh it with new food.

It is fairly conveniently located for town, has a reasonable size car park and offers a cooked breakfast. There was little noise in my room, and the shower was fine.

Old rooms need rework, very limited breakfast, dinner, bar menu. Quite bad beds.

Cold shower in the morning. Wanted to be out the hotel before 7am, woke up at 6 but the shower didn’t get warm. Phoned reception at 6:10 and they said the heat only starts at 6:15, but it was still cold. Ended up having a freezing cold splash and dash at 6:45. Not too happy! Room was clean and mostly comfortable. Some of the furniture and fittings are old and tired.

Good location and the price was decent for a climbing trip.

Bed was very comfortable, water pressure brilliant and hairdryer too even though it was very dated as is most of the hotel but still very good for the price and we also got a free upgrade to a room overlooking the Loch!

Good Location, was told that despite the time of year, the hotel had on average over last 3 months of 100+ bookings per night. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful although they were obviously all working exceedingly long hours to keep the hotel running. They obviously deserve more support or pay from the owners for service they are providing.

A very nice and cost effective hotel close to Fort William, very friendly staff and beautiful views from the breakfast area/some rooms of the lake. There is a bus going to town, so being a bit further away from Fort William was not a problem.

The lift didn't work so I took the stairs which were filthy and threadbare. The hotel needs upgraded but my room was clean and the bathroom spotless.

Staff were friendly particularly the gentleman who checked me in who was very helpful.

They appeared to be very short staffed, so there was a considerable wait for food and drinks. However, the staff remained very friendly and helpful despite being absolutely rushed off their feet. The room we were in was very dated, but for the price we paid (£36 for 1 night) we certainly can't complain. The mattress however was very uncomfortable, so had we been paying much more, I wouldn't have been quite so happy.

The reception, bar and restaurant area were all very nicely decorated and the staff were very friendly. The evening menu was limited, but adequate, especially for the time of year. The food was nice and a good price. We didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment.

Altercation between two dogs in lounge. Staircase and passage way had not been hoovered and a bit worse for wear. Noise from neighbouring bedrooms. The tables by bar seat 4 but are too small and cramped.

Out of season value room, so no view but bedroom/bathroom clean. Lounge area has amazing views over Loch Lhinne. Good breakfast choice suitable for all. The price of the evening meal in all selections was very reasonable and the bar has a nice ambience. Staff were helpful. It's a bit dated but a comfortable hotel. Ample parking. Outdoor seating area. Easy to find. Great touring base.
