There were no hooks in the room, so no where to hang your towel after using the shower.

The room was really lovely with lots of space and amenities. The staff were particularly friendly and welcoming.

No sound proofing in rooms - could hear upstairs go to toilet and v creepy floors

When we got to the room my wife went to the toilet only to find it full of excrement to her horror the manager did come and take care of it but to late the romance of the stay had gone, the next day while tucking into our breakfast the manager told us that it was because the toilets from one more room had backed up into our room

Nothing to complain about this is our 2nd time staying here and the only thing last time was the ensuite was small for me so this time I asked to please ensure it had the larger ensuite which was accommodated for so I really could not find any faults at all. lovely comfy stay. only one small thing theres only one area of lounging type comfy chairs in the bar and if 2 people are sat at them this means you have to sit at a table unless you join the other people so maybe split up this comfy chairs and add another table so there options to use the lounging chairs if someone is already sat there.

attentive staff nothing was too much trouble. good selection of breakfast items to choose from and drinks available. Hearty breakfast and very enjoyable. English breakfast with eggs cooked to perfection, nothing to complain about. chose to eat dinner outside as the weather was lovely, staff were again extremely helpful and attentive.

Superb breakfast. Gavin, the manager, went above and beyond to help when we got lost on the way to The Bunk Inn, even staying on after normal closing time for us.

Very cosy, quirky lovely clean room with own space to sit out...room 9. Sunday roast and breakfast were delicious and plentiful. Staff very friendly and pub was really nice with great design features.

My room wasn’t carpeted so less cozy than it could have been. I couldn’t find a hair dryer and didn’t have one with me but didn’t have time to ask for one. The shower entrance was a little snug, not sure my husband would have liked squeezing through had he been with me.

Lovely setting, characterful property. Staff were super and very obliging, thank you. Nice comfy bed and extra large, soft towels. Interesting artwork hung on the walls.

Would have been nice to be able to open the bathroom window as was very warm. Some of the breakfast plates and cups could have done with a better clean. But staff were really helpful.

The only unfortunate situation was with a few clientele in the pub with a dog (I have 3) having to sit at the table next to us when they had the choice of the whole pub. Such a shame. We moved to not put my dogs in any situation even though they’re friendly.

Wonderful dog friendly hotel with amazing food and drinks. Very welcoming.

Staff gave advice but this would be better written for example what to do with dog pooh and local dog walks. Shower was good but it needs a hand hold as floor got slippery when using shampoo. No phone signal and WiFi only if one agrees to several pages with no reject. That is abusive when advertisement says good WiFi. I recommend not staying until this is sorted as the adverts include WiFi as available and don't mention poor phone signal.

Helpful friendly staff. Property well equipped but dated however good value. Very dog friendly. Food was good but seemed somewhat expensive.
