I loved the room and the pub downstairs was very convenient. There were 3 of us and the room had almost a separate room inside that gave us a bit more of privacy. The food was not served anymore when we arrived, but we were able to bring a takeaway from outside and eat it with a drink from the pub. Great experience.

Limited evening menu. No soya milk alternative to normal milk. Due to the warm weather a salad would have been good. Only chicken, prawn or ham salad on offer which as a vegetarian not an option. Maybe a cheese salad or ploughman's would make a nice alternative?

Lovely comfortable beds, very clean throughout. The staff were very friendly, welcoming & helpful. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast.

We stopped off on route to Scotland, on a very late booking. Was easy to find, good parking nearby and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Dinner, beer and breakfast were all good. Room was nice and clean. Very handy location.

The bathroom was extremely compact given we are both tall / large humans, but it was entirely serviceable, so not really a complaint, just an observation.

Lovely stay at the Bulls Head. Staff were very efficient, and largely left us to our own devices. Breakfast was simple but good quality. Recommend.

The shower room was a little small but functional and clean

On arrival I was struggling with my case and the manager carried it up to the room. When it came time to leave he carried it down as well. Could not have been more helpful. Also the food was very good.

We stayed here before and after a long weekend cycling adventure. It was perfect for our needs, with great food in the pub downstairs and a quite environment. The staff were helpful, offering to keep our bikes safely inside overnight.

Rooms a little small and dated, limited toiletries (we pack light travelling on mototbikes) The stairs not ideal with heavy luggage.

We arrived on motorbikes and were allowed to park them in the outside seating area which was locked over night otherwise they would have to be parked on the street or in a public carpark..not ideal. Breakfast was lovely as were the staff.

Nothing really that we didn’t like. only thing I would mention is that as it’s above a pub there are some stairs to the rooms. this wasn’t a problem for us but it might be for some people who have mobility issues.

really warm welcome from Sally and the team. We arrived at a very busy time but the staff were great. The pub had a lovely vibe on a Saturday evening too, very welcoming to non-locals. The room was super clean and comfortable. The rooms were also very quiet, which was a relief. local is great too, only 5 minutes away from the beautiful Arnside. breakfast was great too

Great hotel in a nice little town, staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful food was amazing would definately recommend a visit if considering visiting the South Lakes. Top value for money

Nothing. It exceeded expectations as pub stay.

Room was spotless. Great hospitality, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Cooked to order fresh breakfast in the morning. Excellent for value. Free car parking too. Couldn’t hear anything from downstairs in the rooms either considering it was a Saturday night.
