The only thing that would've made this better would be a thicker duvet. But the duvet wasn't bad - it was just a bit chilly under the air heater.

Best family room we've ever had in a hotel. Everything was brilliant and great value for money. Fixtures, fittings and extras all nicely done.

The staff was very welcoming, warm and friendly, such good atmosphere and friendly demeanour all around. The rooms are located upstairs and the attention to details was impressive. The décor is delightful and the corridors and the rooms were pleasantly clean, spotless even. In fact, the room was so nice and had such a luxurious feel that my friend couldn't believe what an affordable stay it was. I have already recommended this place to friends and will lool to book another stay for myself ASAP.

Breakfast was meant to be buffet style, but the fruit and meat was on plates in a fridge which was not really easy to do as there was nowhere to put them while you helped yourself. Just a kettle to make hot drinks and only one jug of water with a full dinning room this was taking time to ask for refills of water. Whole Breakfast room needs rethinking.

Room was very comfortable, bed linen top rate. Nice to have nespresso machine as well as usual tea and coffee. Staff very nice and helpful though looked like they were running with just a couple of people.

Nervous of no reception outside hours as at wedding nearby, but called in as passing to ask if could leave car in carpark and they let us register, gave room passes and taxi advice. Excellent. Thank you.

A well stocked tea and coffee tray, very comfy bed, great walk in shower. Was attending local wedding and appreciated being able to register early. Breakfast was continental but great selection of food, even gluten free cereal and non dairy milk.

The Breakfast or lack of it, Continental breakfasts are limited to start with but not even a DIY boiled egg option which is now a common option. There was a very limited supply of the fruit compote one portion left in the fridge and we were only the second couple in, the orange juice was just sufficient for one half glass on our first morning, on our second morning the bread had run out,I also had a dead wasp in my cereal bowl. The milk was in a supermarket container no individual jugs available for the table tea/coffee or cereal we used the adjacent tables fruit juice glasses. Finally I scalded my hand whilst trying to depress the Cafetière plunger which went in jerks and squirted the contents up the neck onto my hand and it hurt. There are no staff on duty at Breakfast. Come on Bulls Head Breakfast should be as excellent as the rest of your experience, please improve for our next visit !

The staff and service was excellent, the restaurant menu was varied and balanced with a specials board a true gastro pub well presented dishes with panache.Spacious rooms with air-con well furnished and equipped, lovely bathroom/shower room.Good parking and outdoor beer terrace although it was raining on our visit and we did not get the opportunity to enjoy it.

Very happy and efficient staff. A lovely menu for dinner and yummy food. The bar is open and bright and the room was very comfortable, with a large bed and good walk in shower. The location is very quite and beautiful.

We cannot think of any negatives. Also we realised that a bus / stop going to Guildford was opposite the hotel .When we stay here again ,we plan to use a bus to visit Guildford.

The self service continental breakfast was great .Easy to access, well planned and in a spacious very pleasant restaurant room. If only more hotels were like this 🤗. If you like country walking paths.......We found the start of one just few minutes from Their Carpark which we followed through a very pleasant wooded area and between well kept fields.eventually leading to the road back to Hotel .A very interestingly walk indeed.

I wish they had at least one dog friendly room! We stayed overnight on our way to collect our dog from a veterinary clinic that's just half an hour away. When we return for our dog's post op x-rays we won't be able to stay here, which is a shame.

How great to be pleasantly surprised by a hotel in the UK. It doesn't happen very often! The hotel is in a peaceful village location and we had a lovely room. The entire place has been recently renovated and the bathroom was superb. I've stayed in four and five star hotels that have been nowhere near as nice. Breakfast is a help yourself affair but nothing wrong with that. I'd highly recommend a stay here.

The continental breakfast was very nice but there were no staff on hand to ask for some dairy milk - we used the oat milk in our tea/coffee which was fine but would have preferred dairy. It was a bit strange not having any staff around and one other guest had been unable to get back into the inn having gone out to walk their dog as the access card did not open the outside door!!!

Beautifully renovated inn - the en suite bathroom was beautiful with sensor driven low level lighting for midnight visits and the touch light mirror was beautiful.

    Nothing to dislike!

Welcoming and comfortable inn. Booked on the day of stay, it was a great decision to stay at the Bulls Head Inn. Check in was quick and we were able to book a table for dinner. The girls waiting on the tables were charming and friendly. The food was well cooked and delicious...haddock and chips, seared salmon on couscous and white chocolate and pistachio cheesecake. Our room was a deluxe king. The decoration was beautiful, fresh and clean. Very comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom with separate shower. The air conditioning was quiet and efficient. Nice selection of toiletries, tea and coffee. Continental breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We especially liked that the chilled items were kept in a fridge and easy to access.
