United KingdomRadiator was on full blast in single bedroom. Unable to turn it down. Could turn it off in twin room. A bright green light on the ceiling on all night disturbing sleep. Fire exit safety light? Not necessary in this day and age, no other hotels have it. Already have a fire exit just outside the door. A lot of noise out in the corridor late at night.
Twin room was fine. Modern style. Comfy beds. Nice staff. Generous tea and coffee. Good car park. Bar downstairs. Great value.

Location for our family gathering was excellent. The pub was quite so no extra noise. Good access to the room via private access so you could come and go as you wished. Great football field and fields just behind the pub to walk the dog.

We arrived late and left early. The landlady greeted us in a friendly manner and showed us around. Thereafter we didn't see a soul as we left straightaway for a family party, came back and fell into bed, woke up, showered and left. All good!

United KingdomSome noise on Saturday evening but it is a pub however more noise possibly as someone mentioned previously that a chiller above is causing the room to vibrate with creaking sounds a lot of time in this room.
Great price and great location., it is central for national parks around the area.This place is perfect for the Trans Pennine Trail and Peak District. Bed was comfortable and room was accessbile at back via with easy parking.
