Since there is no AC, which I totally understand, the window should be able to be opened full for some air. Or maybe provide a fan in the room for circulation. Also concerning that the door to the pub is locked at night but it wasn’t explained how to enter or leave. I found this out because we had to leave at 7 am and used the fire escape to leave the building.

Comfortable, cozy room. Good bed and bedding. The pub downstairs is excellent with good food and staff. The location is great for seeing the Cotswolds if you have a car. Stow itself is a fascinating town.

The head knocks on low beams but that is more to do with me being 6 foot 2 and 14h century people being quite a bit shorter! 😅. Rest assured I learnt to heed the signs and duck my head.

A great place to base yourself in the Cotswolds. Check in was super smooth. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic as part of accom too.

Property in between 2 roads at a junction, busy during the day , quieter during the night . Some parts of the room tired , need touching up re painted .

The size of cups in the room, fine if you enjoy espresso coffee, but not much good for tea drinkers. shade on lamp by the bed not attached, and would fall off with the slightest touch.

My room, which is advertised as small was definitely the smallest room I have ever stayed in. Although the double bed was comfy, it filled the space. I feel that a single bed in this small space would be better, the room could then be more honestly offered as a single at a cheaper price.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The bar and the food were good. Breakfast was excellent. Location in historic Stow is great, just down from the town centre.

The room was very small, not even enough room to put a suitcase down. It was incredibly noisy making sleep difficult, conversations from passers by could be heard in their entirety as the window was on pavement level. The breakfast was expensive and of poor quality, overcooked and dry.

we stayed in Horse room which was a loft room, it was very dark in the room and quite cramped to dry hair by the mirror.

Not a complaint at all as it’s an old building and to be expected but we were in an upstairs room and the stairs were winding, tight and a bit steep, not a problem for us but any one less mobile or a bit unsteady on their feet should consider asking for a ground floor room.

Lovely room in a great location, very stylish! Room clean and cosy, bed comfy and nice bathroom. Kettle, Nespresso maker, hairdryer and straighteners all provided. Excellent value for money.
