We were going to stay for a second night but after being woke up at 8am with horrendous banging ( yes I understand the roof is getting fixed ) But my husband works 7 days a week long hours so 8 am not exceptable

Very hot in the rooms. There was some kind of aircon unit/extractor making a noise throughout the night which did keep me awake.

Large car park which is rare in Blackpool. Although the rooms were dated they were clean. Staff were very friendly Very good breakfast

Noise from the bar area could be heard in the room so was a bit loud at times but was ok

Could save themselves some money by turning heating down a few degrees, bar area, dining room & rooms all too hot. Does need a facelift as parts of decor pretty worn.

It’s about going up 2 flights of stairs to the room which makes me and my dad’s backs ache and sweat. The Wi-Fi range to the room was a little weak

The dining room looked quite posh while I was having my breakfast and the lounge is like being in a pub and it was also the best spot to play my iPad because the Wi-Fi range was strong

Sadly the room was extremely dated . Needed a complete overhaul. Very tatty. Uncomfortable bed with horrible long Black hair when pulling back the duvet. On first glance the room seemed pretty clean, hence not mentioning hair to staff. Wet room floor was disgusting, cracked and needed a deep clean. Plug to sink was even dirty. Very noisy as staff & guests were smoking at table area not far from window. Room through door from games room. Could hear pool table and guests using lift. Chef needs to learn how to fry eggs,Bacon was so salty . Jay at the bar in morning was very grumpy . Carpet in room had bits hanging off it . Wet room also had strange smell. Luke warm water.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Very welcoming. Especially Kev on arrival and George in the evening. Toast at breakfast being brought to table was good. Drinks & snacks at bar great choice & good prices. I won the raffle.

The fittings in the bathroom ( shower curtain ) needs attention and the toilet seat to close to the cistern unable to keep seat up, you have to hold it

The location and parking was perfect, the breakfast was also very good. The room was a little small and the fittings very old and dated, The shower curtain was just about to fall off, the shower it's self was nice and hot and great water pressure but had to be careful not to touch the curtain.

My only criticism is the room was clean but needed a little tlc. The bed lamp was too low on wall, coming out the wall but also so low I kept banging my head on it as it was in my face. The draws needed new handles and the toliet was always still flushing it never flushed properly and was always running water which we found noisy in the night. The room was also very warm we had the window open the whole stay, the seagulls woke us at 5 am in the morning but due to the heat in the room we couldn't shut the window. Not an awful room but a little attention to detail. It didn't spoil out stay but would of meant I gave it full marks.

The staff were all so friendly and lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast included I felt very value for money and it was just as the other reviews have said very good. We were waited on which i did not expect. So organised and great staff and we all enjoyed a fresh hot cooked breakfast with toast made on arrival for us and plenty if fresh juice and water. The room was also quiet and could tell it had been cleaned the beds were very comfy. Paid for on site parking too which was very reasonable priced. We moved the car to visit Tony carvery and was able to get back in as it was a Sunday evening and most guests had checked out. The outside of the property looked well looked after. Great having 2 carparks at the hotel.

Bathroom a little dated, could do with a sturdier toilet seat, and an updated bathroom. The shower curtain didn't contain water it went straight through leaving the floor soaked to clean up. There was one bedroom one door off the games room so it closes at 11 which was a bit disappointing and kids weren't allowed to play darts bearing in mind my boys are 12 and 9 and are pretty good at darts play with their Grandad and at home with real darts responsibly so they were gutted as I'd purposely picked a hotel with this feature.

Lovely old building, very nice helpful staff, comfy room and beds, very clean and spacious enough for an energetic family of 4. Excellent for access to beach, promenade and attractions. Offers paying carpal ideal to leave car at hotel and walk to promenade. Breakfast was excellent full English and choice of cereals and juice tea and coffee. You can double up on the breakfast for only £3 but it was perfect size for me at that time of day.
