Comfortable spacious accommodation with lobby with tea and coffee making. Lovely outlook ovr downs from bedroom. No toiletries apart from hand soap gel provided had ro àk for packaged milks. Heating good but in cold weather a throw or extra blanket in cupboard would have been good and avoid keeping heating on all night. Helpful pleasant staff and owner. Good for several nights if out in day visiting areas sights. Food very good in Pub restuarant.

When we arrived on a Saturday evening the Restaurant was reserved / closed. We were told we could eat in the Bar, which was very busy and only served snacks. When the guests we were meeting for a meal arrived we couldn't find anywhere to sit, so we had to go elsewhere. fortunately there was one other place open. Breakfast was delivered on a tray in the room so not what we were expecting. In the morning when we checked out there was no one around. Overall felt like we were an inconvenience and if a bit of information shared before we went would have helped significantly, it can't have been a surprise booking.

Good location and nice views. The rooms were pleasant with good facilities. The village where the pub is located is very picturesque.

Coffee machine in room and shampoo and hand cream in the room. Motel only had one key for each room so couldn’t give us our keys until after they had cleaned the room, they should have their own set

Although it was nice having a garden view I felt it would have been nice to have had vertical blinds or net curtains as well as the main curtains to give a bit more privacy when inn patrons were sitting out in the garden.

The room was a good size & had a garden view. Some of the surrounding countryside could also be seen. The staff were friendly & the pub food was good, parking was right outside my room. Overall I had an enjoyable few days based in Burwash.

It appears that staff does find it important to respond to concerns regarding inoperative items. // The floors need cleaning with something more than a broom. It does not appear floors are mopped.

No cleaning during our stay. The twin rooms had a terras that looked out on the pub garden so it's not very calm or private .

The bathroom wasn't as good. The tap on the handbasin was hard to press and made a great deal of noise. The showerhead did not look very clean. There was no waste bin in the bathroom and no means to clean or disinfect the toilet if needed.

Very comfortable,clean, spacious room: simple pleasing decor, good TV , good view of countryside. Preferred the wood flooring to carpet. As the large window looked onto the pub garden a net curtain would have been useful in addition to the heavy drape.
