We were not keen on the separation of facilities across two buildings.

The only small issue I would raise was the temperature of the room which was very warm due to the unseasonal hot weather. A small fan would have helped make our night a little more comfortable. Small issue!!

Good Breakfast very pleasant, room was as I expected it to be, would definitely stay again. Like the art deco appearance but would have liked to have spent a bit more time watching the aircraft.

The only downside is and it was more to do with people was there was a lot of door slamming during the night and the flashing light on the ceiling which I’m assuming is a fire alarm was very annoying

The whole weekend was very relaxed and enjoyable breakfast and nice Art Deco a lovely touch always something to look at. Staff very pleasant And I loved the museum Very interesting

Having stayed here many times before, we love the Art Deco building and the atmosphere created by staying here, we were going to a vintage forties event while we stayed so were dressed appropriately which always adds to the feel of the stay.

A lift upto the second floor for luggage. Not a major problem as i was aware of this before I booked.

Room was comfortable and clean. I didn't have breakfast as I do not usually eat breakfast. I could make coffee in my room so that was all I required.

Deluxe room had independent air conditioning and a good shower in the bathroom. I had a view towards the airfield which was facing away from the road so this is a good location to request. Definitely better than a premier inn so I would recommend for a business trip

In the 'non' quiet rooms, doors were banging on and off all night, which like a lot of establishments could be remedied by adjusting the door closers. Also, it applies to all the rooms (13) occupied by our party, the smoke detector flashes bright white ALL night,in a pitch black room it was very frustrating.

Booked hotel and function room for party, enabled family/friends to stay and not worry about time or driving. Rooms very nice with the art deco finishes, also the reception areas, wanted to swipe a lot of the pictures and ornaments. Staff excellent, which we knew from visiting the airfield/bar frequently for afternoon tea/drinks. Breakfast was very good.

Would have liked it if they have started breakfast at 7am instead of 8am then we could of had our breakfast and gone on to the show, only suggesting it as I'm a diabetic 😕 and needed something to eat.

Room was very good, plenty of coffee and tea etc, even minis. Very clean, the housekeeper asked reception to change my room as my mobility isn't very good so changed the room to ground floor. We had lunch in the bar which was nice. Didn't stay breakfast as had to be up for mini show on the areodrome ground's.

The mint imperials next to the bed ! Plenty of milk in the rooms and the fruit teas Some bottled water would’ve been nice. Bed was super comfy and the hotel and room was spotless

We had a room at the rear overlooking the secure car park. I believe one of your regular guests was staying on the ground floor, with 3 dogs, kept in the 4x4 Hilux vehicle - which subsequently caused his car alarm to activate multiple times, making sleep impossible until well into the night. This car alarm noise was reported to the night porter, we never found out what the result of this call was, but eventually it stopped. Surely the person responsible should have had more consideration for fellow guests, and he was not happy when I tackled him about this incident the following morning. Can’t think why he was unhappy!. Very poor human being. Hotel should not allow this (known?) practice, indeed around his car there were plies of plastic bags, mess etc, it looked like he was a rough sleeper not a hotel guest - this ‘look’ was absolutely not in keeping with an otherwise lovely location. Sadly, our memory of a great trip to Silverstone was tainted by this incident . I did report this matter to the Receptionist also when leaving. In summary, guests of this type should not be allowed to adversely affect the comfort and enjoyment of others - and let’s be honest, their obvious expectation not to be kept awake for hours by the crass behaviour of a thoughtless ‘regular’. Would love to stay again, but I will check if this ‘regular’ cretin is booked in at that time.

Love the style and design period theme and feel. Love the aircraft vibe.

Our room was showing a little wear and tear but nothing that isn't a quick fix and the restaurant for Breakfast on the Sunday could have done with extra staff to deal with the overflow of customers due to the car show.

The refurbishment of the Bar/Restaurant was very well done with attention to detail. Whilst the accommodation block was a new build and the rooms being on par facility wise to Premier Inn, Travel Lodge etc etc, it was the little touches that raises it above the rest and the shower was powerful enough to flay the skin off your back ( magnificent stuff). Special mention to the young lady on front of house of the restaurant on the Sunday morning (27/8) who faced with a tidal wave of walk in customers from the Car Show being held on the airfield managed to single handily cope with seating the guests, clearing and wiping down the tables and keeping the coffee/ fruit juices stocked.

Some of the staff were very welcoming and friendly, but there were a couple who were not and didn't acknowledge us. A little more training for some waiting staff might be helpful. It might have been nice to have received acknowledgement that we have stayed several times at the hotel - e.g. perhaps a discount on our food or maybe a bottle of wine placed in our room. This sort of thing goes a long way and makes a regular customer feels valued. Cleanliness of the room could have been better, especially the bathroom.

We have stayed at this hotel quite often and we really like the style. The food is good - excellent breakfast and dinner. Our room was comfortable.

Food was excellent, service very good, bedroom comfortable and plenty large enough with very adequate in-room facilities. Good range of decent beers. Period building of great interest to motoring/aviation fans. Superb viewing facilities, both indoor and outdoor, across the airfield. Secure parking round the back for vintage machinery.
