We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomOur room was cosy and the bed very comfortable. The shower however was very poor, little power and difficult to switch on. Towel rail/hooks in the bathroom would be useful to hang up our wet towels.
We stayed in the 1645 Inn last summer and enjoyed our visit so much we decided to book a night here on the way back from our trip up north. We could not fault the room, small but comfortable and perfectly adequate but were very disappointed with the very limited Sunday menu when we went to order food. We both decided on the roast beef but when we gave our order were told that there was no roast beef left. Disappointing menu but the food we did choose was adequate. We made the most of our stay in the bar enjoying music from the juke box.

We decided to cut our stay short and move on but couldn't find any staff to speak to at 07.30 despite ringing the bell at reception, looking in the kitchen, dining room and kitchen. We moved on but not because of the hotel. Overall it was fab.

United Kingdomrestaurant got overcrowded at night people constantly barging into me while I was eating not so good at all. shower in room is a very cramped fact whole bathroom is tiny specially for a tall person, and has no where to put shower gel or soap or anything a simple tray or basket would solve that? instead you’ve got to be a very good juggler in the shower

United KingdomThe en suite was clean but it could do with a little attention to fix areas where damp is gathering around door and corners of floor areas. Minor maintenance and decoration would improve this significantly.
Location was suitable for this stay. Easy access to and from main A96. Used as a base for traveling to areas we wanted to visit. Staff very friendly, helpful and professional. Food was very good at reasonable price. Room small but very clean and well equipped.
