The staff were so friendly and very accommodating. They made us feel very welcome after we had another place cancel our booking and booked in here very last minute. Wish we had just booked Tara Lodge in the first place. Very comfortable bed and great breakfast. Great to have free secure parking too and we could leave the car there for a few hours after check out. Definitely recommend.

Within easy walking distance of two main train stations and easy access to city centre and range of restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff. Reception staffed 24 hours. Accommodation warm and spotlessly clean.

Can't fault this hotel

This is the best hotel I have stayed in for many years. Every member of staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was exceptional. It was cooked to order and served to your table - something you rarely get in hotels nowadays. We will be back!

Bed was comfortable but the Pillows were both very large and thick. I could not sleep on them. It would be better to have a large pillow and slimmer one to suit different preferences.

If I had to be nit picky the fact that there's no bar available but only a small thing as the top of the street has plenty of choices 😁

The staff are just phenomenal so friendly, helpful and chatty! The hotel is small but well kept and clean Rooms were comfy Nice breakfast choices Food was lovely Handy location This was our 1st stay but we will definitely stay again! Also a nice touch that they have a lounge with a TV, books and boardgames to chill in. We had an hour to kill after checkout and this was perfect! They also bring you tea or coffee! You can tell by the small details that this is family run, it's just fantastic

There was nothing about the property that I did not like, if we had not been able to park our car at the hotel , then that would have been disappointing, but we were able to park so I can’t complain.

The property was located within walking distance to the city and botanic gardens, we were able to park out car securely and forget about it. The room was immaculately clean, it was warm, and quiet, and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious , and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful

All staff friendly & helpful Superb breakfast, plentiful buffet fresh pastries and fruit, yogurts, cereal & juice Staff attentive serving tea and coffee Great choice of hot breakfast Everywhere was really thoroughly cleaned and impeccably maintained Spacious bedroom Comfy bed & linens, noted some people mentioned pillow being firm/thick- there were 2 pillows & found the bottom one was perfect Fridge in the bedroom with complimentary bottled water Temperature in room perfect Shower absolutely amazing This hotel clearly takes care & pride in everything they do Plentiful bars/cafe of takeaways literally at the end of the road - Botanic Avenue has a fab buzzing vibe Would give this hotel 11 out of 10 if I could

The price was near the top end of what I would like to pay, but worth it for the location, comfortable room and bed and breakfast.

Great location with free off street parking. The facilities were excellent and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was first class and the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. I had a room overlooking the road but it was peaceful. The room was warm and comfortable.
