Curtain poll falling off Electric wires dangling from Tv Bathroom door needs painting fire doors propped open - I told the owner but they didn’t do anything Garden tables dirty Strong air freshener smell in room - Overpowering for allergies Asked if room had been used with pets - Told no but later found it was - I am now unwell We have stayed before but I felt attention to detail and safety lacked

The top floor room had a known water leak issue from the roof, causing paint to flake off the ceiling and onto the bed throughout the stay. Reported it to staff, but they didn't seem surprised or bothered. No alternative room was offered.

Town centre location, separate access to accommodation not through the pub.

Parking could inconvenience some people. There is nearby secure parking no problem for me but I could understand some people might find it difficult.

Large spacious room and very good sparkling clean bathroom. Comfortable sleeping and good choice of food in bar and at breakfast including vegetarian option. Friendly staff and atmosphere.

Mattress was soft which I don’t like personally but was clean. Windows are single glazed with only blinds and would benefit from curtains to stop the draft abit but was still a great stay.

The shower i couldn't get to work properly. I don't know what was wrong. The twin beds are a bit far apart. Otherwise it met our expectations.

The breakfast was fabulous and freshly cooked. Room was good and excellently stocked with tea and coffee and biscuits. Fabulous and yes would come back again. The platter in the bar was fantastic too.

Very central however you cannot hear the road outside which was amazing, clean and spacious rooms with everything you need. Lovely friendly staff. Beds are super comfy and we had an amazing nights sleep.

The only thing is noise from the pub into the upstairs bedrooms. Some sort of noise insulation or a bit less bass would transform the experience. Also a proper clean of the bedroom carpet would help.

Hallway carpet leading up to the rooms was very tiered and needed a good clean or replacing.

The Room was very nice with good facilities and the staff were very nice and helpful with nothing to much trouble. Breakfast was great.

Lots of stairs,unfortunately, that led to our pleasant room. Unfortunately we stayed on a boiling hot day and night, not knowing that there was a fan in the cupboard. We commented about a sign on the cupboard and it was hopefully on board

Good breakfast and the staff were very friendly.the location was also a plus. A good place to stay in an unexpectedly lovely resort. The room and complimentary basket was an unexpectedly kind surprise.
