All fine, apart from the room being very hot when we arrived. At least we could turn off the radiator and open the window. We slept well as it was a very quiet street.

The wooden floor in our room was very creaky (noisy).

The proximity to the metro station makes it very practical. The mattresses were in excellent condition. When we encountered a minor issue, a broken bulb, with the lighting in the bathroom this got fixed nearly instantly.

If I had to be picky, it was ‘tired’….but the lady on the desk was pleasant and helpful…the bathroom, towels and bed linen were clean, so that’s what interests me. The bed was very decent and pillows not too bad! There was a hairdryer…and tea/coffee-making facilities. All you need for a brief stay. I was perfectly happy.

The hotel gives the idea of being a bit rundown as there are stains on the carpets around the hotel. It gives one an idea that some time ago the hotel has had a water leakage problem and the carpets ended up to stain. The first room that we have been given should be a single bedroom and not a double; and even if I had booked a single bedroom I wouldn't have liked the fact that the bathroom was in reality a really small ensuite that if one does not close the door; ends up using the facilities with a door literally in one's face and if one does not pay at attention literally bangs their head. One advice is when booking to be sure what one is being given as a room. I still would book again there; but I would really be sure what room I would be given beforehand.

At first we have been given a room that was extremely cold and uninviting; plus the room was extremely small and it wasn't what we have booked for. After we have complained with the reception; we have been given a larger room (the one available for disabled guests) which we did not really mind at all because it was much larger; spacious bathroom and most importantly nice, cosy and warm. We have also been given an extra heater just in case we felt cold. The breakfast was very good with two options of full english breakfast and continental. The location is very good which is 5 minutes walk to the tube.

That a full breakfast wasn’t included and we had to pay extra. No chocolate was given in the room as stipulated in booking, some updates on the furniture in the room need to be made, one dresser was missing a handle etc… Otherwise nothing really we didn’t like. We enjoyed our stay here and we’ll be back.

Lovely traditional English property only a few minutes walk to a direct tubes line into central London. Staff was attentive and friendly. Delicious English breakfast that left us not hungry until evening.

Very dated hotel needs a complete re vamp although very clean.

Excellent breakfast. The staff go above and beyond for you and where so friendly. It was so easy to get around from the hotel. If u come into Euston get the overground railway from Euston to South Hampstead and walk 5 mins upto swiss cottage underground. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from station. Also u can get 31 but to Camden Market which is down Waddington Road behind hotel. Lots of places to eat in the area. Felt safe here.

Superior room was spacious and good value for a London stay. Dated hotel but perfectly clean & comfortable. Good area for Primrose Hill park/ shops & cafes. Also Belsize Park& Hampstead walkable.

The only thing was the hotel and our room was very warm. We did turn off our radiators to make it more comfortable. It could have saved the establishment money in turning down the heating a notch. However, I do understand that you cannot please everyone!

Excellent location, near the tube station with close proximity for most of London. Staff polite and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! Would not hesitate in staying again.

The property was in a convenient and very good location. We liked the character of the hotel and although some of the furnishings had seen good use, we found everything we used very comfortable. The staff were excellent and accommodating, we were a family group of 17 and the hotel was perfect for our needs.

It s only my personal taste, I would furniture with more modern furniture to give it more stylish vibe but it was ok.

A very nice located in Swiss Cottage, only a few meteres from tube station. A nice, safe area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Did enjoy it there and everything was good.

Maybe fresh orange juid=ce rather than concentrate for breakfast!

I like everything about BW Swiss Cottage. The location is pleasant (a couple of stops from C London, on a quiet road, with plenty of restaurants around), the ambience is quirky and leagues better than a concrete box hotel, staff are unfailingly polite.
