All good.

This was the first stop for my wife and her sister on a tour of Wales. Unfortunately heavy traffic on the M6 meant they were later arriving than hoped. However they received a very friendly welcome and were looked after very well. It's a lovely hotel, they enjoyed their room and their breakfast.

Bathroom was a little ‘tired’, but functional.

Excellent attentive staff. Super menu, and a wide variety of GF options. Very comfortable room. Property well away from road in very pleasant grounds, with ample private parking. Dog friendly.

The signage to find the place was not easy. In the daylight it would have been fine but in the dark well nigh impossible. Found it more by accident than design. I reported it and the gentleman seeing us to our rooms said it should have been lit up and he would contact the electrician the next day to check it out.

The staff were warm and friendly, the place was amazing, a big old rambling hotel and incredible grounds. I loved the “shabby chic” vibe and would love to go back again. The staff were very accommodating as one of our party wanted a sandwich on arrival, (there are dietary problems), and it was brought no fuss, no bother.

I liked the fact the bathrooms were in keeping with the age of the house but felt they could do with a little refurbishment.

The property is in a lovely location. The rooms in the main house were beautifully furnished, spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was a little bit dated, but everything was clean and worked. The Staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was extremely good and value for money. A very pleasant stay, we will be back.

Large room parkland views.impressive country house. Nice gardens and plenty of places to eat outside in the evening also covered open area if raining. Good restaurant

There is no elevator and that was not clear for us when we booked the room. Breakfast was great, except the very bad marmalade on the tost.

Unfortunately there was a wedding the night we stayed so it was quite noisy in our room until that finished at midnight. I can imagine it is lovely and peaceful otherwise!

Gorgeous countryside hotel in lovely grounds. Large room with convenient cheating plugs beside the bed. Super dog friendly and delicious breakfast.

The hotel were incredibly helpful at check-in. We were allowed into our room early so we could head off on time for a family wedding. All of the staff were helpful and polite. Our room was comfortable for our one night stay. Breakfast was delicious.

A very minor thing and being very picky, the information folders in the room need updating.

Very comfortable room, good hospitality tray and excellent food. We had dinner one evening and breakfast on both days of our stay and found it all to be delicious, varied and plentiful.

The setting and grounds are lovely. A lot of thought has gone into creating a pleasant and tasteful environment. The staff were friendly and helpful, but not in the least intrusive.. the food was exceptional, both at dinner and breakfast. This hotel is a real find. We have booked in for our return journey too!

There is no Internet in the room we stayed in , small TV for large room with only a couple of channels available. Bed not very comfortable.

Lovely setting, clean, tastefully decorated. Dog friendly. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our accommodation was huge! Fantastic views. Evening meal and breakfast both good.

Appreciated the generous room with the nice view overlooking the entrance and the quiet countryside. The restaurant was a very nice experience. Very tasty food and good service.

Only stayed one night for business, arrived late and was given a nice room at the back of the hotel. The bed was comfy, there was a great tea and coffee selection with biscuits, indeed the room was really nice and I had a very good nights sleep. Breakfast was freshly cooked and really good quality, one of the nicest I have had in a hotel. Would definitely stay again.
