Bed wasn't huge so next time I would pay for a bigger room and bed

Food was great and beautiful building Excellent location Loved the fact that you got a free drink if you didn't have the room cleaned during our short stay, brilliant idea Breakfast was superb

Real ale Beer selection was poor (awaiting delivery). Cold buffet selection wasn't as good as hot selection, very limited. Woken up by kitchen vent fans early in the morning (c5:30!)

excellent location in Harrogate, good pub, decent breakfast and hot selection. Staff very helpful and friendly

Disappointed with the room size. For cosy double read single with a double bed! No view to speak of and quite dark. We need to be more aware of the dimensions next time we book anywhere. Parking was extremely limited. We were able to park in the road opposite, £10.00 for 24 hours.

Great location for access to the town centre. Wide choice for breakfast, buffet and cooked. Very lively at the weekend. All facilities provided. Staff friendly and attentive. Room and bathroom clean.

Entrance to car park could have been better signed. For anyone reading this keep to the right of the hotel as you approach from the front and take the next left behind the hotel.

Excellent Hotel, in a great position in Town Centre, within walking distance to most places of interest in Harrogate, on site parking was a bonus, if your IT savvie you can check yourself in and out without seeing a staff member, but the reception was there and helpful if you needed them. Will use again.

    Bathroom was rathe. Ramped

Good breakfast though it would have nice if there had been grapefruit and more variety of cold meat. Location very good being so close to town centre, Betty’s, and surrounded by splendid Victorian buildings

No complaints, just one niggle . As an animal lover we had no problem with dogs in the hotel. However my friend and I didn’t think it appropriate dogs sitting on dining chairs and staff from the dining room stroking them and working around the food area . A problem easily resolved.

Our room was a lot smaller than expected and the bed was a problem with it being too small.

The bar/restaurant decor was very opulent giving a 1920's vibe. The food and service were both excellent.

The chairs on the patio needed seat pads to make the area more comfortable. This is the smallest bedroom i have ever stayed in, in my life. Any larger type of person will even struggle getting in the bathroom and on to the toilet. In fact it was quite ridiculous.

The staff are lovely, the hotel is nipping clean and the outdoor area/patio is amazing. Breakfast was very good.

Our room was a little small and the coffee and tea supplies a little basic. We overlooked the back of the hotel where some sort of industrial fan started up around 5am though we got used to the sound.

Our room was comfortable and clean. The bars and eating areas were good to hang out in and the food at breakfast and other meals was great. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very convenient for central Harrogate.

Only two people plus luggage in the lift at a time got me hauling my case upstairs. It was only a problem for me arriving and checking out. The parking wasn't great and I found it difficult to understand the "rules" around parking. There is a car park but I only managed to get a place for one night of a three night stay. The arrangements for notifying the hotel you were using the car park - or not using it (if you lost your place after being out) were wearisome. Alternative parking could have been explained better by staff.

I thought it was a beautifully renovated building, and the location could not be better. I had a single room. It was compact, nicely decorated and had everything it needed. Breakfast was included in the price and it was all excellent value for money - more so than I had expected. Downstairs is a stunning bar and restaurant and as previous guests had said there was no problem with noise.

The heating was on full in the room , I had asked if it could be turned off , I turned it down myself. I think in this day and age there should be an encasement mattress cover , the floor was so creaky whenever I moved round, the drinks tray in the room was incredibly dusty and looked like hadn’t been fully replenished.Very small paid parking at the rear, this filled up very quickly.

The breakfast was good, lots of choice for continental. The staff were pleasant, location excellent but beware Harrogate is quite hilly. Nice big shower, nice room decor.
