Our original room smelt very musty but we moved into a different room which was perfect.

We were upgraded to a superior room which was spacious with a sofa and large bed, with a lovely big bathroom. There was a large tv there and the spa facilities were great to use. Plenty of parking.

Parking was busy but I still managed to get a space. Everything else was good.

Lovely room with lots of space and separate bath and walk in shower. Very nice hotel in a quiet area with great amenities. I would stay again and access the leisure facilities next time.

The facilities are used by non hotel guests as it’s a leisure club so got quite busy at times.

After 12hrs on the road, I was looking forward to getting checked in and a bite to eat and then relax....but the restaurant shut at 8:30pm! The cost of drinks at the bar are high!!....and the lack of gas meant no drinks on tap eventually. Poor planning! Breakfast was a bit bland/basic considering the cost. We found an unflushed stool in the toilet on arrival, the heating wouldn't work and neither did the room phone - however the team did give us an extra hour before checkout which we were grateful for.

The staff were really friendly the room was very spacious indeed.

rooms are looking a bit tired now, have been coming to this hotel for years and noticed a decline in the quality of the rooms 😔 booked 2 superior rooms and asked for them close together, rooms 137 and 151 are not opposite each other like we were told at check in 🙄 opposite ends of corridor more like?

Problem finding WiFi access code. Then it didn't work when entered. Mysteriously it started working after a few minutes. Breakfast: Could be SO much better. Good products and selection spoiled by lack of personal customer care, left us presented with cold plates, cold (rubbery) eggs, cold bacon, cold sausage with watery mushrooms and thinking...this could easily be SO much better. Great Pity. OK WE WERE AT 09:15hrs but Buffet style Breakfast needs to be the same quality throughout the service interval, in my view, not just for the early birds. Someone needs to work on overall service quality.!

Room size smaller than previous stay, but OK, warm and comfortable. Great shower. (and bath if you prefer) tick. Good (great) value for a Hotel for B&B type stay. (with a swimming pool! ) tick.

No coffee pod machine, there is instant coffee however. Doesn't state the room has one but thought I would write as a suggestion to make it a 10/10

The rooms were too warm - even with the window open. The food choices were limited and quite pricey for what you get. However tasted good.

The staff were excellent. Everyone was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms were a generous size and comfortable. The hotel was clean. I did not have time to use the pool or gym facilities however.

The hotel is starting to show its age, some areas do need to be updated, gym and pool a bit small, but nothing that is a detriment to the hotel

The hotel was really nice, a pool and gym, with sauna and jacuzzi. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A pleasure to stay there. Having an electric car, the Tesla chargers that can be used for all cars.

1. They need to renew the beds. They are not up to scratch 2. Soundproof doors or at least eliminate the slamming. In that context, soundproof the walls. 3. Staff at leisure has an incredibly relaxed accent. Ask her to articulate better so guest understand her. ….

My sister was not happy with her original room but this was sorted out swiftly and my sister got an upgraded room.

The room was lovely and the bed was really big and comfortable. My daughter and niece loved the pool and myself and my sister loved the garden grounds.
