Patio doors in the lounge leading to the balcony were broken ,so it was very hot in there as sun comes in ,and only two small windows to open , patio chairs were out on balcony so couldn’t get them to use . Tin opener needs replacing . A little dated but clean and comfortable.

Beautiful view and plenty of room

Areas of the property could do with a deep clean, under beds, and corners of rooms and light fittings. Sofa ( cream)would benefit from a clean. Some cosmetic issues

Beautiful sea view. Large spacious property for a comfortable stay. Well equipped kitchen. Warm and cosy. Welcome basket. Peaceful location. Books to read. The host was willing to help and checked on us the morning after there was a bad storm during the night.

Others have said it is "tired". But for price I paid (and with no security deposit) I was more than happy. Yes, as with anything there are a few jobs that need attending to but some of that is due to mistreatment by previous guests tather than owner neglect. Yes, there is an on going issue with the patio doors over the balcony that wont lock. But its elevated so unless the burglar was spiderman id feel safe. Certainly nothing coming close to spoiling our visit.

It's in an excellent location. Large, on three floors. Big living room with 3 or 4 sofas, a little snug that can seat 4, dining table in kitchen for ten. Plenty of room to spread out. Total of 5 bedrooms, 2 lounges large kitchen/ diner big open hallways and landings with a toilet on every floor. 2 showers and one bath. Fire alarm back up battery died beeping in the night. I contacted the owner who came out and fixed it no problems.

Insecure Patio door on the balcony, no locking system in the door runner. Informed the host who replied "Thank you for letting me know". Although I'm sure this had not just happened prior to our visit. Broken piece of glass left in the dishwasher on arrival and several items discovered throughout the week down the side of one sofas and in the radiator grooves. Shortage of mirrors, One in king size bedroom and a moveable wooded stand alone in one of the smaller rooms. It would of been nice to have more mirrors in the other three bedrooms within reach of a useable plug socket for drying hair.

Amazing views of Porthleven. Spacious accommodation, allowing pets was a bonus. Well designed kitchen, lounges with plenty of seating for 10.

The property was just slightly lacking a little loving care by the owner nothing serious but lacked a lock on a veranda door and had some very tatty ripped curtains and blinds.

Liked the location and the house a lot. As advertised views are fabulous and hard to beat in that area of Porthleven.

Possibly more attention to detail/maintenance needed-in one of the bedrooms the main light did not work -new bulbs needed we think , also lamp needed bulb. Patio doors - no way of securing them -no lock mechanism what so ever so property never properly secure . Some of the windows would not open properly . There were Blinds at some of the windows but no string to pull them down or up . Also s some of the bed linen had minor stains on it . Lacking in mirrors in bedrooms. We paid nearly £1000 for three nights so don’t think that these unreasonable comments.

Very spacious -perfect for large family holiday , lovely views /location , large garden for children to play in , plenty of on site parking which is a real bonus in Porthleven. Nice modern kitchen and downstairs bathroom.

The balcony door was broken. It looked like the locks had been taken out intentionally which seemed suspicion, so we had to keep valuable in the car to be extra safe. We never had any issues though as the neighbourhood was super safe. The property advertised that a BBQ stand was available but this was not the case. Minor things that didn’t ruin our stay but something to be aware of.

The location was great and the views were phenomenal. Porthleven town only 10 mins walk away and Loe bar only 15-20 mins walk. The property was fully stocked with everything you could need during your stay including towels, hand / washing up soap, kitchen utensils etc.

Only thing I would change would have been being able to access the balcony off of the sitting room. It wa locked and had old broken furniture - assume a safety issue but would have been amazing to be able to use that space

Absolutely incredible views, lots of space, can accommodate large groups, free parking and easy access. Short walk to the beach and the town centre with lovely pubs and restaurant options

There were some negatives The house was a bit tired and could be amazing with a bit of TLC We had issues with locking the patio doors and the shower head in the bathroom was very fragile and broke. The only direct access to the garden was through a bedroom that was not very convenient for letting the dogs out in the night when the room was in use. We did run out of hot water but that’s what you get for having 5 teenagers wanting showers. We had a vacuum cleaner but could have done with a dustpan and brush and a mop and bucket. Especially with 5 kids and 3 dogs from the beach. ( if there was one we couldn’t find it) None of these things ruined our stay but may help someone else

The house was in an amazing location with exceptional views over the bay. There was plenty of room for our party of nine. The kitchen is modern and has all the equipment necessary The host was very helpful and was there to greet us and show us around and allowed us to park at the property before our access time

The house remains tired and in need of TLC, looking at previous reviews from a year ago, many issues raised remain. Balcony door still not fixed, lack of mirrors in rooms, ensuite shower leaking and water not that hot. House is quite grubby and tired and many windows not opening. The TV broke when we were there, called the owner who said it was new, it didn't look like a new TV. No offer to help solve situation at the time. Its a great size for a crowd and in an excellent location just don't expect too many home comforts.

Fantastic views and location overlooking the sea and close to Porthleven town.
