Our Australian friends found the restaurant a bit chilly as the door was open to let in the full glory of the Scottish winter but that all added to the effect.

Convenient for the town. Lovely accommodation. Easy to park. Great food.

Very vert warm in the room.. The fan helped, but a mobile air conditioning unit would have made all the difference.

There was one minor issue.The steps to access the hotel are quite steep. We only had small cases and they were not a problem but larger ones may have been an issue.

This is a fabulous hotel situated on the town square. Car parking is next to the hotel. The bistro below is superb. We had dinner there on Sunday evening and breakfast yesterday morning. The staff in the both locations were efficient and friendly.

It was a little noisy outside at night for a couple of hours, due to the central location.

The room is a little small but adequate for short stays. It is unclear about what is included as breakfast in the B&B rate. Despite ordering a low cost breakfast option, charged for an extra cup of coffee.

If I'm forced only thing was check out is 10am, but you can extend to midday for £20.

The breakfast was the best I've ever had. The room wasn't the largest but they had styled it beautifully so everything worked. Its right in the middle of the town.

Loved the area the sugar boat is, the staff were all helpful and made us feel welcome. The room was a lovely size and decorated really well, had everything we needed including like cakes as a welcome gift, super tasty. Will definitely stay here again if we're back up that way. The bed was so comfy and the pillows and quilt were so nice would love to know where there from

The rooms are a bit pricey but they are worth it.

The rooms are really well fitted with beautiful furniture; large bed, great views, loads of storage and a small but perfect bathroom. Shower is amazing and bathroom is ideal.

Really good position in Helensburgh only a few minutes walk from the train station. It is a lovely cafe/bar/restaurant with excellent food.

Booking.com listed the property as a place with parking, but seems like it was a public parking space which you had to pay. Thankfully, seemed that parking overnight was free, unless I get a parking violation ticket soon.

Room was very small, we pretended we were on a boat, fine with small luggage, but would have been a struggle with larger ones. Other rooms were all much bigger. For the price, though, it was reasonable.

The rooms were tidy and spacious. We enjoyed the relaxing watching tv after a long car journey. The tv allowed us to watch Netflix which was great. Staff were really friendly.

The smallest room might benefit more from a smaller bed (think queen size is smaller than a double) and just sold as a single... Slight drain smell

Beautiful, expensively and tastefully styled rooms. Great shower. Sugar Boat downstairs is a top asset for Helensburgh. You could be in Bristol, Bath, Hampstead or Hoxton. A cool vibe, but everybody from a few months old to 86 (my mother) are made to feel very welcome. Breakfast menu 😋 coffee 👌
