Some of the decor looked a little tired, for example a damp patch in the roof of the dining area is in need of some attention and some stains in the upstairs carpets. The drive way didn’t have a gate to keep the kids safe when playing outside.

Perfect for a family with kids, loved the garden, the toys and the collection of books! St Andrews was less than a 5 min drive which was also great

In need of redecoration/repainting. Some crockery needs replaced as a couple of chipped plates. Water ingress above velux in kitchen. Potholed track leading to house.

Excellent location close to St Andrews. Lovely cottage with good views. Nice garden. Good variety of books and tourist info in the house.

Some attention needed in kitchen with regards to appliances. Stayed for 2 nights 6 adults and cooked breakfast but found it a bit tricky with appliances needed fixed- toaster, kettle and coffee machine all not working properly. No grill pan to use grill. Lovely property but some areas definitely need attention. Give you option to buy extra firewood. We paid for this as well as early check in in advance but the firewood is already included so there was no need to have paid extra for this!

Excellent location, clean, spacious and comfortable, loved the log burning fire.

The road to the property had huge rabbit hole swamps which was dangerous on the car tyres especially as there were no street lights. The property was beautiful but a bit tired looking, the carpets were badly stained and the main oven didn't work. For a 5 bedroom property, there was only one TV in the main living room as the summer house was locked and would've been better with a few more tvs. The price was supposed to include a clean prior to the stay, however, both baths were dirty and on our departure, there were people awaiting to clean. Checkout could've been a bit later as we cleaned the property before we left at 10am and late checkout for £25 was only until 11am. Besides that, a great property to spend time with family for a special occasion.

The house was very cosy and the beds were very comfy.

Great property just a stone’s throw from StAndrews and all it has to offer. Perfect for friends, family or in our case group of keen golfers visiting the hallowed links. Everything you need in the home for washing, cooking or just chilling and sightseeing around the region. Clean, spacious and all mod cons. Good communication and assistance throughout and looking forward to next visit.

Bit dated. Bathrooms and kitchen could have been better. Rooms were very sparse and some of the furniture was rather dated. Broken chair in kitchen. Blind in bedroom didn’t work. A lot of spiders and cobwebs. Arrived to water leaking in kitchen - although resolved by property team who were very nice.

My child did love all the books on offer.

The main lounge space being split into two meant the party was split in the evening but this is not always a negative.

Well suited layout and number of bedrooms for our the size of our party. Well equipped kitchen and plants of space to eat inside and out. Tranquil farm setting but minutes from bustling town centre and beach.

The postcode listed on booking.com is incorrect. It is different from the postcode on the link. We spend some time on Friday trying to locate the property after being directed to the wrong farm. Please rectify this. Thanks

There was no hot water for showers or to clean up on the final morning (Wednesday) before we departed.

Good location, very comfortable house for a large party as we were. Really good way to have a relaxing visit to the area

The house was not clean. The postcode supplied was wrong and the house is actually further away. The property is only accessible from a single track road which is difficult to drive along. The TV did not work properly and I called to ask for help with this, someone came to the property to address this and said he would be back to rectify the issue, he did not return.

The house is a really nice size. The kitchen was great and the facilities were good. Plenty of parking.

Some of the beds weren’t very comfortable and had no mattress or pillow protectors on them. The bin / recycling situation was unclear and we couldn’t find any external bins. A bit lacking in information at times

Nothing to dislike except maybe the saggy mattress in the master bedroom!

The house was in a fabulous location overlooking the countryside but very close to St Andrews. It was very spacious with plenty of facilities for a large family group. Everything we needed for an enjoyable holiday was provided . We enjoyed relaxing on the terrace in the sunshine, taking in the beautiful scenery. We had a wonderful holiday and would love to return one day!

Only fault was the mattress in the largest room, it needs replaced as it sagged badly in the middle. All other beds were very comfortable.

We really enjoyed the large kitchen/dining area to be altogether. It was a well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery and cooking utensils.

Really nothing much to complain about as the owners have thought of everything. Perhaps just some instruction for the heating as the house was rather cold when we arrived and the heating didn't come on till later. Also it was set to come on at 7.30am but we were up before that so again was rather cold. Some carpets could do with a clean...especially in the master bedroom which was badly stained.

Beautiful location with fabulous views. The house was perfect for us as we cooked there and there was a big, well stocked kitchen and a large table so plenty room to sit together and eat. The bedrooms are large with very comfy beds and plenty bathrooms so no sharing! There was plenty logs and kindling for the log burner which was lovely. Plenty tables and chairs outside which we took advantage of as the weather was good. Just a few minutes drive to St Andrews but it was so quiet and peaceful. Everyone loved the house and we just wished we we were staying longer. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back!

The property is very tired looking and in need of refurbishment e.g. walls are badly marked, sofas and rugs stained, odd smell in downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms need upgraded. It has the potential to be ‘stunning’ but disappointingly that’s not how I would describe it at this point in time. The mattress in the master bedroom is extremely uncomfortable as the springs are coming through so not the best sleep. To be fair, others said their beds were comfortable. We would consider using the property again as it’s a great space and in a good location, but I would hope that the above improvements would be made before our next stay. I hope this is helpful.

Very well equipped. Peaceful location and just 5 mins from St Andrews. Spacious property with lovely garden area. Generally clean. Comfortable pillows!

The access road surface could be improved.

The well equipped house was very comfortable and we loved the garden area. Location ideal for touring around the area and all of our party of 5 enjoyed their stay.
