This is an exceptionally beautiful seafront apartment with charm, character and luxurious beds. The fabulous photographs and decor are a real highlight, and the accommodation is well equipped for all manner of getaways. We loved the views of the beach and pier, cosy sitting area and 2 modern bathrooms. The roof terrace and sea views are such lovely special features. We stayed for a family gathering to celebrate a special birthday and it could not have been any better - even off season in poor weather! There are many great pubs, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The ability to park right outside is also a bonus although you do have to pay. Free parking is also available nearby. I would definitely return to this special place.

Some areas a bit tired- stained dining chair, stained carpet, bathroom mirror cabinet set at a height that could catch head when washing/ shaving.

Simon, the host, was excellent and extremely responsive to any texts or enquiries. The apartment was in a superb location right on the beach front and was very comfortable and with plenty of crockery, pans, utensils etc. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms spacious. Nice to have one bathroom and one shower room - the bath was especially welcome after a long day walking along the beautiful coastal path towards Rye.

Excellent location, very comfortable beds: my mattress was Tempur, which was good for my back injury, fully equipped kitchen, good selection of restaurants nearby.

We loved absolutely everything! This cosy apartment was beautifully decorated and very well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the place was pristine throughout. The kitchen was well stocked with cleaning products, kitchenware, coffee, tea and even a few extra things for cooking and baking. The view of the seafront is stunning and the apartment is spacious making it easy to move around. An added bonus was the balcony on the top floor from which we enjoyed family time and the sunsets. There were even games, books and beach toys for younger children. The Alexa provided entertainment and quiz games when we spent time inside, as did the television and DVDs. Nothing was too much hassle for our host Simon who was very patient and helpful. The communication was excellent throughout. We definitely recommend a stay in this home away from home and will be back in the future. Thank you from the Adams family!

Perfect location overlooking the sea with a seated outside balcony. The property was spotless, heating was on and felt warm, all the beds are a delight and everyone agreed it was the best nights sleep they have had for a long time. Simon the host was very helpful and kept me informed on the checking in process. We will definitely be looking to book again next year.

Nothing to say here really. Only one (very minor) comment to feed back: window in the shower room seemed to be jammed, so we couldn't open it to air the room after showering.

Keys were in a lock box outside the property and we were provided the code to the lock box, as promised, on the morning of the day of arrival.

There was construction outside the whole time we were there. It was loud and caused traffic. There are a lot of stairs (3 flights). This was difficult as I arrived on my own and struggled to carry my heavy suitcases up the flights of stairs.

The location was ideal—beach, shopping, restaurants, library—all within a few minutes walk.

The apartment was lovely very spacious and close to the beach. Simon the host was lovely and helpful.

There was a constant smell of smoke in the hall area from other occupants of the building.

Loved the location and the balcony overlooking the pier and the sea The top bedroom was charming but very small with a low ceiling in parts. The living area was comfortable with all necessary facilities - but we could have done with a tea cosy! The host was very helpful, particularly with regard to finding free parking, which was very straightforward.

One toilet had limited functionality. The weather could have been better but hey, Hastings in early March…

Comfy beds with 100% cotton bedding - brilliant! Very well equipped - kitchen had absolutely everything (pots, pans, plates etc) and welcome pack Wi-Fi, tv etc. Lovely towels.
