We weren't accommodated on this place as it wasn't available (there was an issue with it). On the day of stay they offered us different place which was Ok, but on 12km distance from the original room. We had no choice as we arrived really late, but the place was not what we needed. So we asked to have the booking changed and to refund us the remaining nights - which was confirmed after 2 weeks after long disucssions... We had to book another hotel to stay.

In the middle of the ghetto, poor service, poor communication, and pictures are miss leading. The bathroom is worse than a jail, with no power in the restroom to connect anything. I have to think hard to get power to the shower spray. There is no instruction once so ever for checking out. The pillow was flat, like none exciting.

This was the worst experience I ever had with booking. The studio flat was situated 20 minutes from centre. Before our arrival we wrote to booking that we will arrive at 01:00 till 02:00 and they accepted it. When we finally came to the adress the building looked old and wasted. There were three keylockers, but non was with our keys. I called owner and he thought that we will arrive next day and that he hasn't got the studio ready. He arrived after 30 minutes and opened the studio for us. There was such a mess all around and the bedsheets was used. He wanted us to stay there for one night with the used bedsheets and the other day he would clean the room. When we didn't agree, he offered us an another property to stay, but 20 minutes away by car. So we were one hour away from centre at the end. When we came to the another property everything was alright there. Clean room, clean bedsheets. Only shower was cold, that was the only one problem in this property. At first he wanted us to stay in the new property only for one night, then wanted us to come back to the first studio flat. But we didn't want to come back there, because we didn't feel safe in that area. Next day owner texted me that we can stay in the new property. So I wanted to say don't go to Elephant Castle, I think that it's not safe area. But I want to say that the owner was really kind to let us in the new property, he wanted to solve the problem and offer something different after mistake with dates and time.

It was so unhygienic place no cleanliness not even a soap in the washroom not even a toilet paper everything was dirty even bed pillow and all were dirty.very disappointed with the place.

A lot. Smelled of damp, unfinished paint job on walls and ceiling. Dirty used plasters on bathroom floor. Dead spiders that look like they have been there from before lockdown. Rude host.

HEALTH AND SAFETY HAZARD- I’ve lived in 3rd world countries that were better than this. Everything was either broken, dirty or unserviceable. The shower temperature changed, dramatically, which resulted in a burn.

First of all, the studio fell way below expectations. The couch was stained, and the sheets were yellow. The toilet was not properly cleaned, and the house had a funny smell. Security was terrible. You cannot lock the front door from the inside. They have a lock, but they didn't make a hole in the doorway, so it doesn't work. Anyone who knows your code can come in at any moment. There is also nothing you can put on the door to indicate that you don't want them to come inside. But the worst part is they have a back window/door to a dark alley that communicates with other buildings. This door has a handle on the outside, and you also cannot lock it from the inside. After noticing this at 22:00 due to a major party happening in the building communicating to this street, we didn't feel safe and contacted booking and the owner. The owner was dismissive and told us everything was working properly and didn't provide any further help. They said they were watching the cameras 24/7 to ensure no one comes into our room, which is, of course, not true. They didn't even come to meet us and try to lock the door. At booking, they told us we could ask for a full refund and book another accommodation. Now they say I was not entitled to a refund? I basically threw 200 euros down the drain for this dump. Don't make the same mistake as me. Read the reviews and book somewhere else. We found a nice hotel 10 minutes further down the street.

Wasn't actually clean. Cociane bag on the floor of bathroom. No radiator in the studio - There was a plug in one provided but unfortunately this didn't work. When plugging in, the extention lead sparked. Matress wasn't comfortable - old spring mattress with no protector just a sheet.

Terrible communication and instructions. Was not given clear information on how to access the key box, nor leave the keys on exit. I ended up trying to enter the wrong room under terrible information provided. I had to call to sort at 9.30 pm which wasn’t ideal. No internet inside and text messages shared for a signal that didn’t exist. Should be a pamphlet inside explaining how to function in the 21st century. Shower is also decaying, there’s damp in the roof and everything needs to be painted.

I was absolutely disgusted with the level of poor hygiene, there was 4 cooked eggs left inside the kettle, I stood on toe nail clippings that had been discarded all over the floor, the bed wasn’t clean bedding and had pubic hairs on the sheets and the pillows had head hair on them, the bathroom towels were dirty n used, toilet paper was left all over the bathroom floor, the Wi-Fi did not work so I couldn’t use my devices for work purposes. I’m absolutely appalled at the service. I contacted the owner and he immediately assured me a refund which he has still neglected to do. I demand a full refund of £90. Regards D. Corbett

I didn’t even up staying the night because I just felt so uncomfortable seeing the walls with holes in and dirt. It smelt funny too. Wish it looked like the pictures but it really wasn’t as you can tell by the pictures. So disappointed. And the staff didn’t even message me back.
