Perhaps I would add a small refrigerator in the room.

Comfortable and clean room. Super central location, close to two subway stations.

The room I got (Superior Single) was on the first floor facing inwards and to the north. Therefore, there was very little natural light in my room even in full day light. I'd recommend asking for a room on the higher floors.

I liked the amenities on the room (biscuits, bottle of water, Rituals soap...), the great choice in the breakfast room, air conditioning. This was my second time staying at the Strand Palace, and I'd book here again.

For a room which cost £240 a night, it was very poky, we had a room which overlooked a side street with a very small window. The tv was cheap and not in keeping with the feel of the whole place. The bed was good as was the shower. The shower gel etc was hard to use, the pump actions didn’t work well. One chair in the room for a couple. Fine for one night but not worth what it would have cost to stay for longer.

Staff were lovely particularly in the cocktail bar. My husband asked if they did a particular cocktail - A San Francisco - and one bar member went off to research it and made it - bar one ingredient which they didn’t have. This was a lovely touch.

Maybe just the fact that the windows didn’t open all the day:) Due to children security. But that shouldn’t be in every room..

Interior décor has become a bit gloomy, all that dark grey and black, some trendy trends are better avoided frankly but once inside the room it was fine.

The room was tiny but CLEAN which is vital to me and not always the case in other hotels. Well located hotel. Nice restaurant for meals including breakfast

The hotel cancelled my original booking and then charged a much more expense rate for the room. I pointed this out and the hotel refused to do anything about this over charge. I will not stay here again, very poor attitude.

Upscale, clean, comfortable. Small rooms, but all you really need. Could not pick a better location for shows, restaurants, the river, or museums. Very safe and welcoming. I have stayed there 3 times as a solo traveler and would definitely recommend! Comfort, location, and security are worth the slightly higher price.

The bathroom was very small and snot as clean as I’d like

The location was perfect for our trip to London for my partners birthday. We arrived to balloons and chocolate in the bedroom which was a lovely little touch. Reception were friendly enough and the concierge were extra helpful.

Great location - walking distance to transport stations, restaurants, souvenir shops.

While our room is quite spacious, it feels a bit gloomy and the window is a bit too small. The shower area is a bit high as well, which can be dangerous if it's slippery after showering.

The hotel location is central and just walking distance to Covent Garden; where you can find dozens of restaurants of your taste, Jubilee Market, and many souvenir shops. It's also near pharmacy, coffee shops, and transport stations. It's also 5-10 mins walk to the National Gallery and Trafalgar Square. If you plan to ride Hop on Hop Off bus, the meeting point is just across the Trafalgar Square. The hotel provides free water bottle that can be refilled and the refill station is available at every floor.
