Our shower controls were a bit stiff

Lovely and warm . Very clean . The gentleman on duty ( Adil I think ) was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble . Excellent service and this really resonates for us .

The bed was far too hard.Bedside tables were dusty.

The staff were amazing,Had an issue with odours in our room so offered a different room with complimentary mini bar and breakfast.Location was brilliant! Right next to multiple shops and pubs.Would definitely stay again.

There were a few issues with the bathroom. The extractor fan didn’t work, the overhead shower needs slight fixing and the shower tray didn’t feel very stable and was creaky. We also had a few noise issues with the people in the room next to us as well so maybe rooms could be better sound proofed.

It was very conveniently located. We like how the Tv in our room had access to Netflix and Disney+ etc. We liked that the doors beeped if they were left open/unlocked. This could especially be very reassuring for solo travellers.

The pillows were shocking, too hard and when asked for more pillows they were paper thin!!! Terrible also, the floor boards need looking at as they squeak and doors need to have soft closures attached as the doors slam in the middle of the night waking us up!

No bar but saying that was close enough to the town centre which had plenty.

Location was fantastic. The room was actually a suite and was lovely. The complimentary toiletries were top quality. spotlessly clean, bath robes. Great value for money. Staff very helpful too.

One small issue with communication as I sent an enquiry re parking and didn't get a reply. No parking advertised when I booked but car park listed on the wall outside so would have been helpful to know prior to my visit as I ended up parking about a mile away.

Beautiful clean and stylish hotel with comfortable rooms. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay an excellent one. The location was very handy for university and the town centre.

The only thing I didn't like was the plastic waste in the bathroom. In 2023 there is no excuse anymore for bottled supplies, even in high standard.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this stylish hotel. And I am picky. I had a great stay with a good sleep - everything is high quality, nice staff, good breakfast and conveniently located. I would return any time without thinking twice.
