Stairs to front door and en suite may be a problem for people with mobility issues. not a problem for us.

Nothing too much trouble for the hosts. So many small details thought about and provided. Lots of lovely towels and robes. Immaculate room. Fresh roses changed during our stay and treats provided after our long day out walking. Mini fridge in room was really helpful for milk. thank you both for a lovely stay and making us feel special. x

There was nothing I didn't like.

I was met by Michael and knew from the start that nothing was going to be too much trouble for him. Super helpful in every way - explaining about the room; bathroom etc. The room was spacious, quiet, with its own entrance from the street . I enjoyed the excellent coffee from the machine in the room.

Nothing it exceed our expectations.

Everything, the hosts were amazing and went that little further to make your stay enjoyable. Fabulous, clean, comfortable . Those little touches make a big difference, fresh coffee , bathrobes, large towels, large comfortable bed, can't fault it

Absolutely outstanding! Brilliant location in a nice street, and close to Brighton town centre. The bed was huge and super comfortable. The room was lovely, it has its own entrance at the front of the house, and it was stocked with lots of little creature comforts which we loved! Everything you could possibly want in a guest room. And Michael was just the nicest, most friendly, and most welcoming host we've ever met. I don't think I've ever given 10/10 on booking.com before, but you guys deserve it!

I can’t fault it

Everything. The communication before hand was brilliant and the owners are really helpful. There for checking with parking permits made it really easy, Paul was very friendly and made us a pot of tea while we sorted the bags. The room is a really nice size and the bed was comfortable, little touches like the chocolates, various phone chargers in the room, the books and the coffee machine really make it feel like a home from home. Having our own access to the room/house was ideal. Michael met us at check out and was also very friendly and was able to tell us about some lovely place to have breakfast/brunch, also offered to look after our bags until later if we needed him to.

I had a brilliant weekend at Stay@27. Michael and Paul are amazing hosts and I really enjoyed meeting them. They made me tea on arrival and helped me with the parking permits for my car which I parked immediately outside the guesthouse. The bedroom and facilities exceeded my expectations. The location is fantastic - close to bars and shops and the beach whilst being very quiet. I plan to return later in the year to this gem of a place! Thank you Michael & Paul for being so hospitable!

What an absolute gem of a find this was. If you are ever in Brighton and need a room, please go to Michael and Paul's at Stay@27. Couple so friendly, such a wonderful warm welcome, couldn't do enough for us. The room, just brilliant - clean, large and lots of amenities, tea/coffee/fridge/hairdryer/iron/tv/wifi etc. with your own entrance door so if staying out late you don't distribute others. We have booked already for next year. Please do not hesitate to look/book this room if staying in Brighton, really easy access to town - no more than a 10 mins. Marie

Absolutely nothing bad to say!

it was an extremely comfortable property, lovely and warm, beautifully furnished, great location for the hospital, excellent facilities, brilliant value. …….but the best asset of all by far, were the truly wonderful hosts! Michael and Paul went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable through my stay. They even offered to walk with me to a restaurant or get a takeaway in for me, which I thankfully took them up on, as it was icy and cold - not a night I fancied going out :). They put a hot water bottle in my bed and Michael even offered to walk me to the hospital at 7am as it was still icy and dark. They really were something very, very special and it was obvious the passion they had for the business and were genuinely keen to please their guests, with the perfect balance of interest, care and professionalism.

This is the first time we stayed in Kemptown and it is a lovely area with lots of shops, eateries, pubs and just a short walk into the main centre and beachfront of Brighton. I stayed with my sister for Halloween and we were made to feel so welcome by Paul and Michael from the start. The large room had fresh flowers, fluffy bath robes, a fridge, smart TV, coffee machine, available bedside phone charges and the comfiest bed I have slept in for years! Best thing was that they had large bath towels - a rare find in some guest houses. The room and bathroom were so clean and we loved our own private entrance to our room from the outside. We bought a bottle of gin to bring back to our room and when we came back later in the day there was a plate of sliced lemons for us! So many little thoughtful touches. We had a great weekend and it was a pleasure staying with you both. We look forward to our next visit. Kerry & Debbie.

Nothing. In fact I wish I was staying longer.

I would challenge anyone to find a more homely, comfortable and friendly place to stay in Brighton. The room is large, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you should need while away from home. You also have your own entrance - useful as I got back late at night from a gig without disturbing anyone. The next time I'm staying in Brighton, I had better book ahead in plenty of time, because I would hate to have to stay anywhere else!

the hosts were the absolute best! from making tea for me when I first arrived to going on the bus with me to make sure I got back to Brighton train station safely. Micheal and Paul helped with directions, grocery tips, restaurant tips and actually walked me to the citi bike system so I could rent a bike. they were kind, gracious and a hoot. the room was very big and comfortable. A fridge, coffee, tea, milk, chocolate and flowers was a great added touch. the room was quiet, as hosts respect your quiet time and sleep time. lights are kept on at night so you can safely climb the few stairs to the bathroom. they respond quickly to messages and requests and they laughed at all my jokes. thank you, thank you, thank you
