Michael and Paul are lovely hosts who welcomed us to their home for a few days. This was probably the fastest check-in experience we ever had - didn‘t even get to ring the doorbell ourselves as we were already greeted at the doorstep! The room is down in the basement and has its own entrance, so there is lots of privacy. It has a big window for natural light and is super spacious. We had everything we could wish for during our stay and were sad we had to leave again. The bed was super comfortable and the room had everything you could possibly need during your stay. (earplugs, chargers, you name it - they probably have it for you!) The bathroom is separate just up the stairs, so no chance of fogging up your room after a shower. We were lucky with the weather but Michael and Paul provided us with lots of information of things to see and do in Brighton even on a rainy day. They have a lovely dog who unfortunately was very sick during our stay and needed a bit more love and attention. If you have the chance to book this, you should take it! We will be back next time we're in Brighton!

We thought we had a very warm welcome by the hosts. Excellent attention to detail in the accommodation, such as multiple chargers, umbrellas, earplugs. A marvellous small collection of thoroughly entertaining books from diverse but wonderful writers. Just like Rolls Royce, they think of everything. Our hosts were extremely helpful with taxis, parking permits, recommendations for food and entertainment, all within a ten minute walk.

Just wonderful... Great guys that run the place, beautiful dog, fabulous location, such a comfortable bed and beautiful room, your own entrance... And such a great thing in my book... It was quiet too! Protected from the busyness of Brighton, so a good nights sleep was had!

Wow, such a wonderful place to stay! From the moment we pulled up outside the property, the hosts ensured that everything was perfect for us. Michael directed us to a parking space and helped with luggage back to the house. Although there was plenty of tea and coffee facilities in the room, we were offered drinks upon arrival. The room itself was very spacious and tastefully decorated with quality furniture and a very comfortable bed. Phone chargers are even provided, so no scrambling around under the bed looking for sockets! Everything was spotlessly clean and the hosts really had thought of everything to make Stay@27 a home from home. The pier, shops and restaurants are just a few minutes’ stroll away, so the location was also perfect. The great reviews are very well deserved. Thank you Michael, Paul and Bolo x

The property was very clean with everything in place; clean sheets, towels, robes, iron , hair dryer name it! The owners are a lovely pair, very welcoming and warm. They helped me park, get my things out of the car and even offered me a cuppa on arrival. The choice of tea and coffee is the room is great and the tv has lots of good channels! I had a nice night. What’s not to like, location so so clean, a power lead for your phone in every corner, water, robes….. everything, perfect!! Would highly recommend

This does not apply as the property and location were what we wanted. The parking was fine but could be problematic as it is limited and there are no reserved spaces so it’s first come first served but we managed fine and as parking was one of the main (potential) issues when staying in Brighton it was the main reason we chose Stay@27.

We chose this place for its location and it didn’t disappoint. The room was spacious, clean and with so many extras it felt very homely and welcoming. We had our own private entrance from straight off of the street. Plenty of tea and coffee choices. Michael and Paul were brilliant hosts, very welcoming, especially that pot of tea, and they were friendly, helpful and extremely gracious. The property is in a very quiet street and was about a 30 minute walk to The Lanes so ideal for shopping, eating and the Brighton Centre. Thank you Michael and Paul

So many things, from being remembered after my last visit and greeted like an old friend to a blissful sleep in one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Stay@27 really is home from home and I can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you Michael & Paul for another wonderful stay, and also for the advent calendar - I haven't had one for years! The little extras made this stay exceptional, a pot of tea on arrival after our long journey, phone chargers around room, fresh flowers, umbrellas...just excellent! The location is fantastic, a 5 minute walk to the sea and 15 mins walk to the centre and attractions, we went to see a performance at the Theatre Royal, ideal stay. A huge 'thank you' to both Michael and Paul for their hospitality and extreme kindness, we most definitely will be back!
